You were saying?...
CALIFORNIA'S ASSAULT WEAPONS LAW HAS BEEN LARGELY IGNORED:
...According to Bob Drake, chief of the state Bureau of Justice Information Services, only 5,150 of the estimated 200,000 to 300,000 assault weapons in the state have been registered since California became the first state in the nation to ban sales of the military style guns last January...
NON COMPLIANCE - Why havent Californians registered all their assault weapons?:
...Now we learn that out of Californias population of 35 million people, only 27,000 "assault weapons" have been registered, even though it is estimated that there are 500,000 to 1 million legally owned assault weapons in California...
True. It was a Republican who, first gave his word he would not confiscate the SKSs, then when it came time for election he turned his back on his promise and demanded SKS owners turn in their weapons.
It wouldn't be the first time a supposedly conservative Republican lawmaker turned against their conservative constituents.
I seem to remember a good ol' boy from Tennessee who was holding hearings on Chinagate, (read: Sen. Fred Thompson (R-TN) "investigating" Bill Clinton's espionage) then rolled over and shut down the hearings when the heat was turned up.
Then, when it came time to vote for conviction during Clinton's impeachment trial, good ol' boy, Fred Thompson voted against the conviction.
I guess California has no monopoly on traitors in office, do they?
Registration Means Confiscation in California & Connecticut:
...During his run for Governor in 1997, Former (Republican) Attorney General Dan Lungren reversed his own earlier decision about the SKS Sporter. Bowing to political pressure, he declared them illegal, thus demonstrating that the trust of SKS owners was misplaced...
...The California DOJ has admitted they have records, they know who own these firearms through the registration process, and have ordered seizure and/or prosecution by law enforcement agencies throughout the State.
Did they? I still have one?
Well, youre going to get your chance to count. I hear the loonies that the electorate voted in are seriously considering confiscation. Will it end w/ a whimper from KA gun owners (most likely) or will you push back in a way the police and brown shirts remember?
Bravely spoken. What action have you taken to push back against government corruption?
Dems Led By Pelosi To Bring Victims Of Gun Violence To State Of The Union Address
how many people will the GOP bring who successfully prevented themselves or others from being victims via use of a firearm?
