It goes beyond just that. NC has, for the first time in MANY years, a republican house, senate AND governor. They are about to really shake things up and there is precious little the dims & the NAALCP can do but watch. They are also using the rules the dims put in place when THEY were in power to make sure the districts are set up in their favor to ensure they keep power as well. They are also making voter ID requirements a top priority to ensure the cheating stops, which irks the shiite out of the libtards.
Since our former governor Sugardumplins screwed things up so bad, they may not have to worry about that anyway, but they are setting things up nicely for NC.
RE: the letter - The best part of the letter was left out of the preview above:
"You do minorities and the elderly a disservice when you assume that they are incapable or incompetent to the point that they cannot provide a photo ID to vote. Photo IDs are required in nearly every aspect of American life, and most Americans over the age of 16 have some form of photo ID. Your talking points make no sense, as you ramble on with Constitutional phrases to give an impression that you know what you are talking about, and it is apparent that you are grasping at straws. Your attempts to make minorities and the elderly believe that they are victims in this effort is contrary to common sense but apparently necessary to your economic survival"
Oh, and Barber most definitely IS a race-baiting bastard whose existence relies solely on how many people he can keep scared. He is trying his best to be Jesse & Al, but he doesn't have the charisma or intelligence of those two, which should tell you all you need to know about him!

All you have to know is that the congressman is caucasian and he is criticizing an African American Please ... show some respect to the racist organization. This is the NAACP we're talking about ... thus, the congressman is criticizing a "colored person".

“How is this news?”
In and of itself, it isn’t news! But it IS NEWS when a legislator says so publicly.
I am so tire of this “poor us” BS spouted by the so-called “black support” organizations like the NAACP. With very few exceptions, blacks put skin color ahead of everything when voting, and yet they continue to “wonder” why they are still the dregs of society. It actually amazes me that Black Christian Churches don’t have images of Jesus depicting Him as Black!

Thanks Altura Ct. Rep. Michael Speciale:
This is as insulting a diatribe as I have seen in years. The NAACP has a proud history of working on behalf of black Americans to address the problems of society directed at them. You tarnish that with your racist diatribes and your race-baiting attitude. The photo requirement to vote is to prove that one is who they say they are. Nowhere in anyones minds but yours and your fellow race-opportunists is race, ethnic background, or color of ones skin mentioned, insinuated or inferred regarding the proposed voter ID laws.

“Can I tell you how this will play out?
Like a good member of the Stupid Party he will come out either this weekend or Monday.”
Instead of acting like a worthless surrender monkey, how about you defend the man.

Not necessarily a slam towards him. Give the establishment time, they'll get to him. My guess is, an apology is already in the works.
I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think I am.
