Per top realty salesmen, some 3/4 of house sales in richest California towns are to Chinese, often for all cash. (And realty sales people are now even scrambling to market the houses directly to the buyers in China )

Yes, they are trying to get assets outside of China, especially before it collapses. They have about as much confidence in China as we do the US.
