You can educate some people but you can’t make them smart, note Obama.
I’m surprised this “gender studies” professor doesn’t describe the cause of shootings as “straight white male privilege”.
In the 90's, in an article on 'stranger murders' that appeared in Scientific American in 1994/5/6, the authors broke down the then-current FBI/DoJ stats, which were obfuscated by introducing a category of murder assailants of nonblacks whom they labeled "unknown". There were no "unknown" races attacking blacks; 91% of the murderers of black decedents in the late 80's to mid-90's (basically, the crack-cocaine wars) were themeselves other YBM's.
You could look at other categories of violent crime against non-blacks and see that "Peanut" was the party responsible. I named him that after a murderer in Houston in about 1991. An elderly couple in a silver Lincoln rolled up to a stop sign in the bad part of town ..... evidently having taken a wrong turn coming home from Houston's Hobby Airport ..... and were promptly attacked by "Peanut", a YBM about 12 y.o. who was riding around on a bike with a high-quality, high-cap pistol stuck in his trademark baggy pants under his baggy shirt. He blew them both away through the driver's side window in a shower of lead. Reason? Cops never told us, but white skin and a Lincoln probably had something to do with it.
The other constant lie was, "it's all about the money". With respect to black-on-black "turf" crime, that would appear to be the case. Other than obfuscation, the FBI wasn't contributing much to the public knowledge store about black-on-white crime.
With all the "Peanut" murders attributed properly and the "unknown" category unmasked, it turned out that YBM's were responsible for 91% of black victims' murders and about 50% of nonblacks' murders. At that time, about 25,000 people were being murdered annually.
One other trend shown by the Scientific American article was validation of the truism articulated by others, viz., that murder stats track with the economy. A return of prosperity would likely be accompanied by new, higher murder trends.
so, who is the “other” race and why are they killing so many people? The FBI stats are pretty obviously written to show minority races in the best possible light and white people in the worst. for example, if a mexican kills a black, it is listed on white on black crime which then falsely inflates the number of white murderers in America.
In future, as Hispanic and Asian fractions of American underworld life advance, the kaleidoscopic view may return, but that day hasn't come yet, except near the borders and in areas where the U.S. has been colonized by a succession of Mexican governments.
