Where do you get your internet and how much?
Have maintained Internet service with the cable TV folks for about 7 years at this location. About $30, but will jump big-time to $50 in a couple of months. Around here, for fast access, Charter has us over a barrel. Still cannot get U-verse here.
And will an antenae work for local stations?
Our $50 Phillips amplified VHF-UHF antenna is split to 3 TVs and a computer to record a few programs through Windows Media Center, like NCIS and NCIS-LA, Blue Bloods, Major Crimes, Rizzoli and Isles, and special events. The quality of digital reception suits us just fine. Off the top of my head, we get all the broadcast networks in either HD or SD...about 24 separate channels or sub-channels (4-1, 7-2). No longer get any cable news channels, such as Fox News Channel, but there are online sources to watch clips of Sarah the next day she's on. That's about all the cable TV news we want.

Correction: My wife reminds me that we get delayed broadcasts of Major Crimes and Rizzoli and Isles through online outlet(s) and not over-the-air.

The fix to all of this is for the Tea Party cacus in the House to put together a budget that spends at 18% of GDP and taxes at 19% of GDP. You might even go back to the Clinton era budgets for a template on taxes and spending.
Pass it in the house and not do one single bit of business till the budget passes. Yes the media will scream, yes the government will shut down, yes it will be painful. But do it now and get it over with before the next round of elections.
