The teacher should be strung up for what she did. IMHO, using the bathroom should be a private thing and no one’s business. When I was in middle school, one teacher remarked that we don’t need a pass to use the bathroom and if we needed to use it, just go quietly and do what you need to do and come back.
I worked for a manager who was a real jerk and a micro-manager. You had to even get his permission to do the most mundane tasks as well.
In our building, our company had part of the 3rd floor and all of the 4th and 5th floor. And the 3rd floor our company had their own bathroom separate from the main 3rd floor bathroom. For at least the 4th and 5th floor, for the number of people that were working, we had a high number of people per toilet and even for men, you had to routinely wait to use the can. Worse for the women. Since I sat on the 5th floor, sometimes I would go down to main 3rd floor bathroom which got very little use since the dental offices had their own bathrooms and my company had their own as well on that floor. That bathroom had a little more privacy too due to little use.
One time, I went to use the 3rd floor bathroom and one of my manager’s “favored boys or pets” saw me leaving the bathroom and reported me. I got called in and chewed out and was basically told not to use the 3rd floor bathroom when I should use the 5th floor bathroom. I basically told him my bathroom habits are none of his business. I told him I don’t wait to use the bathroom and he came back that he doesn’t care how long I have to wait and I was not to use the 3rd floor bathroom anymore. He then told me that I need to be be easily found at all times. He expected to see me in my office or the computer labs or see me in the bathroom either peeing or my feet in the bathroom stall.
The only time I've ever heard a Texan complain about Californians, is when Californians move to Texas.
I will say that I agree with you in the fact that Conservatives should be working together. I also agree that public schools all over are evil and should be avoided if at all possible. No one on this thread said anything bad about Californians until YOU started to jump all over Texans. I'm not one to promote the lesser of two evils, but you hardly have a leg to stand on and denigrate the schools in any state, short of New Yuck, with the nonsense and depravity that is celebrated in California.
You want to know why people deride California (which generally FReepers are not referring to Californian FReepers when the state is referenced) ?
Because California is the state that's state supreme court declared an amendment to the state constitution, unconstitutional" so that faggot "marriage" would be recognized - even after the people voted it down. Because California tries to force oppressive environmental standards on the rest of the country. Because California won't acknowledge it's citizenry's RIGHT to own and carry firearms without major hurdles. It is the state that tries to force a "renewable green energy" platform on it's people and then after three years of 'environmental impact studies' shuts down a solar electric farm in the desert because it might make the desert more desert. This is also the state that wanted to go after Arizona due to emissions from AZ power plants that pollute California's air.....completely ignoring that power plants in AZ produce a large volume of California's electricity.
If I had to move and the choice was Texas or California, I'd chose Texas hands down. The RIGHT to own and carry a firearm is still recognized there. The people are smart enough not to allow farm land to turn to desert over some 3" delta smelt that isn't even a native species. Stupid teachers that force children to piss themselves are called out, rather than glorified like the teachers in California that teach 'muslim awareness week' and the joys of anal fisting.
And yes, I've been to California, unfortunately on multiple occasions. I'm one of the "lucky" individuals that got to witness a "man" walking down the street in San Fransisco wearing "clothes" made out of nothing but candy necklaces while wearing a sign that read "Free Candy." This wasn't even during one of their infamous "gay pride" parades; just a normal day in San Fransisco. And, instead of deriding these people and public nudity, the people look to ensure the "right" of sexual deviants to parade about while naked in public is "protected." I've also had the pleasure of taking the wrong exit and winding up in glorious Compton.
I take comfort that when I'm in Texas, or back home in Virgina, there are a good many of my fellow citizens that are also armed. I take comfort that in many of the places I go in TX and VA people still remember what the words "please," "thank you," and "excuse me" mean; even in some of the more seedier areas of Dallas and Richmond. I also am thankful that I have yet to see deviants parading about naked in public in full view of women and children.
As I said, things are screwed up all over, California is definitely leading the pack; on the plus side, that's the state the rest of us look at to say "we don't want to end up like them."

You are absolutely right! That said, If this had been an article that dealt with the same issue but referenced a California school, you Texans would been all over it like white on rice. Despite the fact that FR is headquartered here in California, you folks from Texas alway light up whenever the “opportunity presents itself.” All the BS about “let’s cut California loose and let it float out to sea” kind of crap tells me that the person making the remarks isn’t bright enough to have a reasoned discussion. They would rather make snide remarks that diminish the dialogue down to the point where it’s useless. I have only been trying to point out that to the extent that you participate in this kind of moronic nonsense, that you cheapen what FR was founded to foster; open, reasoned dialogue. An example of how you are on this thread for no other reason than picking a fight is the fact that you refer to me as a Texan, but failed to read where I said "back home in Virginia." You also missed where I said if I had to move [ie I don't live in Texas] to Texas or California I would chose......
Indicating that your goal was to paint with a broad brush and ASSUME I had to be a Texan that was California bashing - because that was what you wanted to believe.
You also failed to acknowledge that I AGREED WITH YOU and stated things were screwed up all over. From there I pointed out what the perception was WHY California gets a bad name. I also did objectively compare what was going on in California and how it effects other states.
I also went out of my way to state that when other FReepers are referencing Californians they generally are excluding California FReepers.

I don’t get this “Texans forever bashing California” stuff you are spouting. I have been here on FR, it seems like “forever” and I don’t remember the bashing. I have seen some Californians bashing Texas and claiming it was because they had been attacked, but none of the other.
I checked her logs.. almost every page has her saying something to crap on Texas... She has a personal hate toward Texas and Texans... let the kid hate, it’s too late to change it now :/
