Republicans control the House where all spending bills must originate. Radically cut appropriations for all of O’s favorites, like the EPA. Refuse to raise the debt limit.
We are going to go over the cliff in any case. The sooner the better. Face reality and then finally start digging out of the mess.
Since we cannot compete with free money, e.g. Santa Clause, we should vote ‘present’ (like OBama did as a Senator) and let the Demcorats run things into the final ground.
Part of me thinks this would be the right wrong thing to do and all the while be sure the GOP is Yelling strongly that the GOP compromised and the Dims had their way and that is what is causing the problems. Unfortunately it will cause lots and lots of pain among all of us.
And in regards to immigration, scr-w it and declare all human beings are US citizens. That way world wide taxes can be collected and oh forget it, no one wants to be a US citizen... do they?

I was telling my husband something similar to this this morning. Except that we conservatives don’t live under their rule. We’re supposed to be such a minority that we should be able to find some plot of land somewhere and form a new country, write a Constitution just like the one we have now except expand on it and put in safeguards that we don’t now have, like explaining better what a natural born citizen is for one, and let the liberals try it alone for awhile. The country would end up being like the country in the movie Idiocracy, and then the conservatives would come in and clean things up, while the liberals are stoned out of their minds.
My alternative proposal - Block everything, give them nothing but the disrespect and sarcasm they showed us and our nominee. If we are going to hell in a handbasket, let’s do so spitting in our enemies eye.
