I want to go steal Michael Moore’s millions. Who’s with me?

What nonsense! The republican party supposedly “died” after 1932, 1964, 1974, 1992, and 2008.

I don't think the demographics and the moral structure of our society will allow another Republican to gain the presidency.

All that was consider moral will now be classified as 'Hate Speech'. It's over. America is dead.

The GOP is no longer the vehicle to push the United States toward free markets and free minds.

One peaceful and legal way remains. Despite what the new Lincoln movie will probably preach, the Constitution allowed the sovereign states to be free from the tyranny of the Federal govt.

Peaceful? It sure wasn't peaceful the last time. What state's government has the resources to defend itself from the Feds?

And, even if the Feds didn't want to fight about it, what would stop the Feds from just selling the state to a foreign country? Do you think that Obama might be willing to sell Texas to the Chinese if he had an excuse?

Think about that. Seriously. Obama's capable of just about anything.

That is EXACTLY true. Every word. Today’s youth don’t care one whit about wealth accumulation. They are totally fine with just having enough to get by on. They just want to make enough so that they can have their toys.

As long as the government provides a safety net (funded by the Evil Rich) yes, that is all that matters. This is why I always say that liberals are not evil, they are simply not adults. They are 14, every one of them. If there is food on the table for the foreseeable future, a mall to roam in, and the scent of a mating opportunity in the air, well... what more could one want?

After the nomination we lose big time if we turn to “NO VOTES” and irrevelant parties, we remove ourselves from the fight. I will continue to work to get Conservatives nominated, if I fail at that I won’t withdraw from the field but will work to defeat democrats and that will not be accomplished by ceding the elections to democrats of any ilk but working within the party that has a chance to beat them.

And the GOP Elite thanks you for allowing them to manipulate you and abuse you like a battered wife.

Next time, just like a battered wife, you'll be right there to vote for their worse candidate after they manipulate him/her into the nomination.

And all the while you'll be patting yourself on the back on how you did the right thing.

Mitt Romney was a symptom - but ultimately, he’s not the cause for blame. WE are. WE fat, lazy, talking like we love the Bible when we really don’t American “Christians” who want a soft spirituality that makes no demands on us, that we can do on Sunday and live the rest of the week as we like. It’s time that judgment begins at the house of God.

Yash,

I agree whole-heartedly with everything you said except this last part.

This election was Mitt Romney's to lose, and he chose to lose it by supporting two behaviors that he knew were sinful, and even an Abomination before God:

1. Abortion
2. The Gay Agenda

He had a choice, he knew bettter, being a Bishop of the Mormon Religion, a religion that considers these two actions to be sin as well.

As a Christian, willing to face the facts about our nation, you have to also hold Romney accountable for his failures.

He failed!

I heard alot of people hammering Romney today about failing to make Benghazi more of an issue.

I agree with that, but one thing I always thought made him extremely vulnerable was Romneycare.

Any other candidate could have spent alot of time dissecting the evil that lies in Obamacare - but Romney couldn’t go anywhere near it.
When it came up, he had to try to praise what he did in Mass while simultaneously criticize the ACA.

But...maybe I’m just dreaming.

I truly am stunned at the amazing number of extremely stupid people out there.
I knew there were alot of morons - I just didn’t know we were already outnumbered.

It’s possible alot of these people haven’t given this issue a passing thought.

Silly caterwauling.

While there is serious soul-searching to do, this election was very much like the 1948 elections, where Truman won by a few percentage points. The Republicans came back to win the next 2 presidential elections.

“The socialists have a firm grip on the mechanics of our government and are loading up their base for all future elections.”

Obama had a biased media, hollywood, academic elites and a billion dollar campaign PLUS billions in stimulus graft to grease his way to re-election.

What he lacked was a good record.

Yes, it can be peaceful. In the end, maybe not.

Unfortunately, this is never even considered as a lawful option. Barely a whisper.

And you’ll be standing proudly in the irrevelance of your “NO VOTE” or reveling with your 3rd party that you made .95% mark, lots of progress, while leaving it to others to work at un-stopping the sewer. My plan is and always has been to work within the GOP and their primaries with the hope of being heard and making a difference. I haven’t seen a plan that appears to be anywhere as effective even though I cannot claim to have acheived any of my goals. Other than standing on the sidelines and withdrawing from the field because you don’t like the quaterback I don’t believe you actually have a plan or can make a case for one that is as good as mine. What I see is you do nothing but stand on the sidelines and disparage those who are actually working to un-stop the sewer.

I would be shamed to admit to anyone I didn’t vote against obama and I could never justify a vote for a third party knowing that they would never win and knowing that at least most of their votes would have gone to someone who had a chance to beat him and a “NO VOTE” is absolutly ceding the field. I’m not going to get into Romney was not my firsrt choice, you know my posting record, at least I supported a fiscal Conservative for the nomination. I am satisfied with my efforts and decisions in this campaign dispite my disappointment in the outcome, I hope you can say the same.
