Already have the New Black Panther Party doing the intimidation deal here in philly...Would love to see about 5 SEALS join him. Headed into Philly now....Amen to the Prayer! Where 2 or more are gathered in His name....
I live in Virginia and arrived at the polling precint @ 5:15 and was about 15th in line. By the time I finished voting the line was 150+. It was about 75% black, which isn’t abnormal, or county is 45% black and went for obama last election. By the time my husband arrived a little after 7:00 he said the racial makeup was exact opposite, it was 75% white, most dressed for work. He said line was 250 + easy. Not sure what to make of it all, but just praying my hardest!’
Already cast my vote in Early Voting, but I rose early this morning and walked a mile to the polls to stand outside and pray for a half hour.
At 7:00AM, the line was already snaking around the outside of the building.
I prayed every psalm I knew by heart, several passages from Isaiah, The Lord’s Prayer, several hymns, and then just used my own words.
Linda-The-Dog sat at my side on the leash without moving a muscle. She must have known something very important was going on.
I will check in from time to time, but I have to work till 9:00PM tonight.
Hopefully I will get in for the CELEBRATION of a RR Victory before I go to bed.
Went to vote at the West Chester Library in Boehner’s district (across from the site of the Friday night Romney rally)at 6:30am. Long lines in a very Republican district, (Boehner is running unopposed this year) are a good sign.
Did not vote, because I had to be at work at 7. Will vote right after work, before the evening rush.
I’d rather complain about Romney, than suffer under Obama.
Just voted as did my family. Now we sit back as time crawls and watch the returns and the liberals scams. I see already *already* it is happening as I read in another thread of voting inspectors being turned away.
Heavy rain and t-storms in Tampa Bay, Florida. Steady stream of voters at the poll. No line outside the door at this hour. Poll greeter said there was a line at 6:30AM.
II just finished voting. Turnout among older voters was way up, and there was aa decent wait to get in. Even better, on the way over, II didn’t see aa single Obama sign. In 08, the one’s propaganda was everywhere.
Now I’m going to head home and make calls until Romney has his Pittsburgh rally later this afternoon.
Voted in NJ. No lines. Straight Republican of course. Voted No on the bond issue for public university grants and yes on requiring judges to contribute to their benefits.
Just voted in blue county in Iowa (Story county, home of Iowa State U).
Very few people in line (less than 10). But then again, these blue folks don’t tend to get up till later in the morning.
The script for Romney’s GOTV callers isn’t very good - it doesn’t have any real specifics to help convince people who don’t support Romney to vote for him.
Can any of you help me find a short list of talking points I can use in my calls? I’m going to start looking on my own.
Reporting in from the Upper East Side of Manhattan...we now have paper ballots instead of the old lever machines so this created lots of confusion. I was also sent to another polling site a few blocks away by a poll worker with 5-inch purple sparkle nails shoving pastry in her mouth...where I was then told to go back to that site OR just fill out an affidavit. What??? I want to vote at the proper place—screamed I. So I raced back in the cold to my original polling site of ten years and found my district. The woman behind me was chatting with her husband about Barry and the Boss, the Christie call and how she couldn’t imagine our country with that scary VP—what’s his name?
Yes prayers up for mitt romney today. I humbly ask for the Lord’s blessings to install new leadership in our country. With God all things are possible.
I haven’t voted (Massachusetts) yet, but as I was traveling in to work, the radio host was listing reports from around the area... most saying lines were in the hundreds, and 45 mins waits or longer.
Just FYI...if any of my fellow Freepers have time to make GOTV calls on behalf of Romney/Ryan, you can go here: http://mi.tt/VvV2dZ
Even a couple of calls could be enough to make a difference.
Just voted here in the People’s Democratic Socialist Republic of Illinois. Actually this is a rural county in central IL. Turnout brisk, not overwhelming. Romney will carry this county big (shoot, even McCain carried it in 08).
My husband and I just voted in Bucks County, PA. There were only 4 people in line ahead of us—we were lucky. I asked the poll worker how the turnout was. She said between 7 and 9 people were standing outside in the cold; the turnout since 7 has been higher than she has ever seen!!!!
Just voted this morning around 9 AM in SW Pennsylvania (Washington County) The wife voted earlier on her way to work. I was number 108 which is about double from previous years. Ladies at the polls stated they were very busy this morning. This is a heavy Rat Union Zombie area.
