Just voted in small east central Iowa town . . .
11:35 am.
voter #106 in my ward.
No wait.
In and out in five minutes.
No lines.
Adjacent ward voted in another room in same building - no line.
Not sure what this all means...???
Did more folks “pre-vote”.
Are Obama-ites just staying home?
Town went for O in ‘08.
Has been interesting to see the “lack” of Obama yard signs around town.
Many, many Romney signs.
WE NEED TO MAKE “O” GO AWAY FOREVER ! ! !
Send him to Saudi Arabia and he can be their on-site representative in Benghazi - - he knows the area all too well.
I’ll post a final result when totals are added up and reported.
I woke up at 2:30 this am because I could not sleep thinking about FOUR MORE years of “O”.
Now just have to be patient. (take a deep breath, self...)
I’ll predict 295 EVs for Mitt. That’s NC, FL, VA, CO, NH, OH, IA & WI.

Here's the correct code for FR's setup : <http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c116/candimann/IMG_3315.jpg>
You can alter it with a width= or height= tag if you like, as in http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c116/candimann/IMG_3315.jpg width=300 or 200 or 10,000 or whatever, tho the latter will likely git ya flamed .. LOL
Specifying one dimension of the image will cause FR to reduce/enlarge the other dimension proportionally.
I cannot WAIT until tomorrow when I do not have to see Barry and bride’s mugs plastered on the side of the Yahoo Mail page.
Are you a moderator or can anyone edit someone else’s posts?
Thanks again!
I “feel your pain”! Southern Minnesota here. UGH!
Oh, brother! I thought you edited it, but I see that you reposted for me. I need a nap. I didn’t eat to bed until after 2 last night, lol.
Just got in from voting in St. Louis. (I really should change my FR page to where I live now.) I’m not exactly sure what kind of neighborhood I’m in, because on the one hand, it seems to be a very religious neighborhood, but on the other hand, it went for Zero in a big way in ‘08.
Whatever the case, I waited all of 45 seconds at 11:30 AM, but I heard tell that the lines were 30-60 minutes long in the early morning.
No idea what that means, if anything. There haven’t been any political signs in the neighborhood either—well, maybe one or two on the hard left-wing houses, but that’s all.
Whatever the case, I’m overjoyed that I’ve done my part in throwing the bums out.
Here in California, we moved to a "top two" primary system where the top two candidates, regardless of party, move to the general election. My Congressional district was reapportioned into the new CA-15 (was CA-11), and Fremont's Fortney "Pete" Stark is now running in the Tri-Valley (about 25 miles north of Fremont).
I had to choose between radical senile Stark or Democrat newcomer Eric Swalwell from Dublin.
This reminds me of when Democrat newcomer Ellen Tauscher was running against Republican incumbant Bill Baker back when this district was the CA-10. A Tauscher-backed heckler goaded Baker into an argument at a rally in Danville, which was video-taped, and Tauscher unseated Baker. Tauscher went on to join Hillary Clinton's State Department.
Call me an Anybody But Stark voter this year.

LMAO .. there's a scary thought !
I can't edit your posts, but anyone can right click, get the url of a pic and resize it, or copy it, etc .. thusly :
To combat that, I try to make sure that my grafix suck bad enough that most aren't tempted to mess with 'em ;-)
At 11 a.m. today, representatives from the consortium of news organizations that sponsor the National Election Pool will enter a quarantine room, where theyll look at data gathered via exit polls, Michael Calderone reports.
Maybe thats your problem. You are supposed to sleep in the bed rather than eat it. :)
< bwahahahaha >
Helpful Hint.
the ... img width=xxx.... command specifies a literal value, and makes the actual image size displayed very dependent on your monitor size.
By using ...img width=’xx%’... you make the picture a PERCENTAGE of the viewing size of the monitor, ergo it should display the same for everyone.
I feel both your pains! A good part of WA (especially eastern Washington) is Red; however, most of the population is in the very liberal (thanks to all CA immigrants - NOT!) Seattle proper. I’m hoping we’ll at least get a Pubbie Governnor for the 1st time in many years (especially since Gov Christine Fraudoir stole the election 8 years ago from Dino Rossi) - hopefully, Rod (currently our AG who joined in the Obamacare lawsuit against the wishes of ‘Queen Christine’) will win the Gov against Jay Inslee (was Dem Rep)
Bill, I am honored to be your friend and am so thankful for all of the hard work you’ve done to help Mitt get elected. I hope it pays off today.
And the market surged at 11 because they always find out first (even though you should never believe exit polls).
