Would it be possible for you to turn this thread into a Breaking News Live Thread?
Much is being posted on the storm but it’s scattered about. It’d be great to have a prominent thread for people to post to about it.
Who is happier that Sandy dominates the news Obama or Romney ? Who controls the media , Romney or Obama.
I’m sure the LEFT MEDIA wants us to forget about the cover up in Libya..this is perfect
By the way , I KNOW from experience that when it comes to “weather events” politicians up the danger by %400 or so then the media ups that by another %200 or so .
Here in North NJ they told us 7PM last night we were going to start to get hammered . It drizzled. This morning , yea real windy, bit of rain . Now it’s 7:00pm TONIGHT we’re going to get slammed . They have people in ultra panic here.
All FNC seems to want to talk about is NYC, but it looks like the Philly area is going to get pulverized by the winds. The one thing that I’m REALLY worried about is the Springton Reservoir dam (PA Rt. 252).
I’m located 340 yards from Long Island Sound shoreline, in Milford CT between New Haven & Bridgeport, on the edge of a mandatory evacuation line. Not sure how long the power will last as winds are steadily increasing. It just started to rain sideways. We’ve got a 6500W generator and have photographed our posessions. The last high tide was about 1/2 hour ago and the water was less than Irene levels, but close. 12 hours from now will be a different story. Hi Sandy. Now go away!
