Now 70 million viewers got a chance to directly compare this glittering buffoon to the polished and professional leader sitting next to him.
I think Biden idea on big issues is to just laugh them off.
so Biden maximizing his obnoxious standard self, and the moderator excercising her bias did the job they were suppose to do (a)insult Ryan and (b)as often as possible keep Ryan from finishing/completing his competent answers - which they seemed to succeed at
and (c) try to turn Ryan into the mean person the Dims want to portray him as - but at least that part didn’t work
I hope enough undedecided people realize that Biden was working to Keep it from becoming an actual serious debate.

That was so infuriating watching this bufoon, the VP, be so disrespectful of his opponent, of his office, of Americans in general.
I kept hoping Ryan would stop, turn to Biden, and ask him what the heck was so darn funny? Is it the 8% unemployment? Is it the four Americans murdered in Benghazi? Is it the increasing number of casualties in
Afghanistan? Just what is so hilarious?

Biden gave the game away when he jumped on Ryan for daring to mention Kennedy (apparently trying to channel Lloyd Bentsen scolding Dan Quayle). Ryan was merely making the point that keeping tax rates low actually raises revenue when the economy improves and more people are working. Biden shaking his head and muttering “it’s never been done”, despite the abundance of evidence to show that it has, made for a weak counterargument. The “so now you’re Jack Kennedy?” outburst made Biden look small and desperate - but then, his whole performance did that, too.
I was expecting to laugh at his many gaffes but did get that with this debate. I found his laughing creepy, like an actor who learned from a bad instructor.
