I have high hopes that the Romney campaign has a mutually assured destruction plan, MAD, ready to go when, not if, the Obama forces unleash their usual cutesy, smugish, ambush of the Republican opponent.
This particular video of Romney speaking the actual facts driving this election, is not damning since to refute it is an admission of the brink of disaster this country is teetering on.
Is Jimmy4 on unemployment? food stamps? section 8 housing?
disability? TANF?
inquiring minds want to know....
I was stoked when I heard it. I was beginning to worry that Mitt doesn’t get it. The video proves he does.
Nothing "damning" about it. People who think its "damning" are the 47% he's talking about. Members of the hive.
The do-ers of the world know exactly what he's talking about.
I had no idea what that was, and had to stare at it for a minute or so before I saw ears. Originally I was seeing bubble chamber tracks and was wondering what in the world that had to do with anything. Good one.
I agree with the comments. After hearing his remarks, I was absolutely relieved. I actually felt better about having to hold my nose and vote for him. No sarcasm. If he really believes this, that Pali’s don’t want peace, and 47 percent are on the government tit-suckers, then his ass and head are more in alignment than previously anticipated.
So James Earl Carter IV is relying on leftwing faggie David Corn to put his name in lights. And his granddaddy has someone to carry on his sorry legacy.
Jimmah Carter.......back from the grave!
It’s the LA Slimes and Rashid Khalidi is the PLO-terrorist being honored.
According to now-deceased Black Panther Attorney Percy Sutton...Khalidi was also instumental in getting Oblunder into Harvard.
He thinks that helping Obama will help him get a job? Not from anyone who "built that".
It's consistent with the inartful things he said in debates such as he's not concerned about the very poor (because there's a social safety net).
Gallup polling says 39% think the government should do more than it does even under Obama. And, as he said, there's about 47% who will go for Obama no matter what. I think he's wrong to base that on the "who pays taxes" class-warfare crap some on the Right want to play.
If the underemployed and low wage person's tax burden would prevent them from having housing, food and reliable transportation to a job, why would we tax them to the point of hand them benefits? It's irrational. Let them keep more so they can pay their own way for basic necessities and they can build on it and become productive taxpayers.
I have no issue with the working poor paying no federal income tax. Of course I also think they should be exempt from union dues--if I can't kill the union outright. They'll still pay sales tax.
Why are we talking about Romney's words and not the scandal that is the murder of our Ambassador, Obama's spiking-the-ball convention and abject failure of Mid-East policy? Can he go on a trip to Egypt? When he got into office, it was safe for him to go and speak when they were an ally under Mubarak. Now? There's not a chance in hell of him going to Egypt to speak.
Young Mr. Carter is desperate to get Obama re-elected, because he figures after four more years of Obama, there will be no question who was the worst US President of all time, and Jimmy Carter will finally be off the bottom of the list!
