I did see Sudden Impact recently on cable. It would never pass with the PC Police or ACLU brownshirts today; but I enjoyed it.

I have been a Clint Eastwood fan since he was Rowdy Faber on Wagon Train many years ago.

I did some research and found that Clint played Roddy Yates when he played on Wagon Train. I don't know why I thought he was Rowdy Faber. It's funny how time can warp your childhood memories.

Don’t know about Wagon Train but he played Rowdy on Rawhide.

Rowdy Yates was the ramrod on “Rawhide.” Gil Faver was the trail boss. I am a child of the 50’s and 60’s.

Ha! Well, that comment reflects the genuine lack of narcissism in Eastwood that is legion in Obama. Clint doesn’t take himself all that seriously, nor does he care whether Obama likes him or not.

Because Eric Fleming played the trail boss, whose name was Gil Favor...

He wasn’t on wagon train, it was Rawhide.

You can watch Clint Eastwood play the part of Rowdy Yates and Eric Fleming play the part of Gil Favor in Rawhide by searching for “Rawhide” on YouTube. We’ve been enjoying catching up on some Rawhide shows missed when they aired 1959-1966. We were also watching James Garner and Jack Kelly in Maverick last week, but they were just taken down for copyright violations.

In his own right, in my book, Clint is in the same league as The Duke was/is.

Try to catch “Magnum Force.” It was that flick that gave me my “elder years” motto: “A man’s GOT to know his limitations!”

ahhhhhhhhh yes..... the Duke.

John Wayne, Bob Hope and Clint! Today’s hollywood propped up so called stars are arrogant selfish nobodies.

I don’t see anyone who can hold a candle to those of yesteryear.

Go Mittens and Paul.

I'd like to add Jimmy Stewart to that list. He was a true American hero.

ah yes... Jimmy Stewart. There were many great personalities, and they did not use vulgar, demeaning language to get a laugh or to do movies.

Manners, pure and simple deteriation of morals. Removal of God from our society and “let anything go” mentality of the Hippies of the 60’s. They, sadly are in charge of too many things today. We need to volunteer, pull R/R over the line. Do our part by getting out OUR vote on Nov. 6.

Have a great day!
