There there is some local news about a kid getting killed when he was hit by a car while he was skateboarding to school, a pedestrian was killed crossing Hesperia Road just after midnight, and a gang member is being tried for attempted murder.
Our local paper probably had the best coverage of the 9-11 events that I saw anywhere. I get the hard copy version, digitally, on-line. The headlines are from their hard-copy version. The website hasn't the rights to publish the same articles.
An earlier poster replied with what also surprised me this morning here in Charlotte: A story about how corporate interests DID pay for events and venues at the DNC, despite Obama and Democrat promises to the contrary, and big coverage of the attacks and protests at our embassies.
