Peggy Loonan was gushing all over Obama after he got elected. She is a moron who tries to maintain credibility because she wrote a few speeches for Reagan.

“Conservative” Peggy Noonan praised Obama to high heaven when he was elected. She said what a wonderful thing it was to elect a black man. Made no difference to her that he was the most pro-abortion candidate in American history. She didn’t care. This is the same Peggy Noonan who is supposed to be a staunch repubican, a devout Catholic, one who wrote most of Reagan’s speeches. She had definitely taken a liberal turn in the last few years. I suspect she voted for her hero.

Interestingly Noonan was the object of rage of such deep thinking ‘realists’ as Gergan and the guy who went to prison who was Reagan's imagimatician because she would ask embarrassing direct questions about something that the West wing boys were trying to pull off to make RR appear more ‘moderate’ and ‘centrist’. I am interested in how she has gradually drifted across the spectrum to be Dem light. I suspect it has to do with who she gets contracts for for her PR business. It is still another depressing example of the inside the beltway self referential corruption of spirit.
