Hopefully, this image is not lost on all those "independent" voters, still wondering which candidate will be the best for them...
Heard second-hand that Peggy Noonan really went after Romney for his response. Is that true?
Did you see the earlier article when a lesbain said she asked Romeny what she should tell her 8 year old who wants to know why her 2 mothers couldn’t marry?
Romneys response “I don’t care what you tell her. Whatever you’ve been telling her for the past 8 years.”
On the one hand, Obama, the Democrats, and the MSM are doing everything possible to play down the importance of the embassy assaults. Yet, on the other hand, the same people are attacking Romney for criticizing the president during what they portray as a time of serious crisis. It makes no sense, of course.
Meanwhile, anything that allows Mitt Romney to act like a serious president while Obama continues to act like the empty chair he is, even when acts of war are being perpetrated against us, is good for Romney, and he must not wilt under pressure or allow the Democrats to distract him with Bain or tax-return issues.
Good news, the independent voters are “center-right”, so do not worry.
The Democrats realize that Obama blew the election yesterday, that’s why they are so desperate.
Stay strong, Mitt! We’ve got ‘em now!
Because the one with real leadership was the one who took the LOSER in the White House to task. There is no leadership in the White House, NONE.
Yep and of all days, September 11th, 2012, the LOSER in the WH handed once and for all the election to Romney. LOSER is NOW TOAST.
To 'morally Rational' minds; yes; toast. OTOH. . .we know ideological zombies have no such benefit.
He sounded more natural than usual, and seemed to be speaking from the heart, while responding logically and firmly to questions. Seemed like a glimpse of the real Mitt, rather than the cautious, stage-managed version we're more accustomed to seeing.
Knowing that John Bolton; OTOH; is an Advisor; gives me the highest hope.
Romney gets a bum rap in the blogosphere in regard to the gay marriage business in MA. He opposed gay marriage and supported the effort to pass a constitutional amendment along with Cardinal O'Malley, et al.
I must admit that Romney looked great today—like a leader, like a statesman, like a President.
