God bless Nancy Reagan, a wonderful woman but she wasn’t known for her speechafying. No one ever claimed she she was a good speaker. She wasn’t expected to.

Do wish 'remorse' on Ron; may someday he feel it; suffer it. . .Meantime; he is no more than a thorn in his Father's side and a depressing; degraded footnote; to Ronald Reagan's life; and history. He is a total contradiction to Reagan greatness.
Perhaps some day; 'beyond too late'; he will find his senses.
OTOH; he may just stay of the 'lesser side' of the Reagan path; while never realizing the 'errors of his ways'.

I believe that Jane Wyman did a better job with her children. Maureen and Michael, than Nancy did with Patti and Ron Jr.
Both of Nancy's kids were cute as little ones, but something happened along the way. Perhaps it was the California lifestyle and influence. Perhaps there were issues in the home. It could be anything, but those two wound up as very dysfunctional adults.
I always felt sorry for President Reagan, because he had to be ashamed of them. At least he had Maureen and Michael, who were closer in spirit with him. Jane Wyman did an excellent job.
