I say dump Juan and replace him with Pat Cadell
I won’t watch Williams. He’s a blithering idiot and far left hack. I’ve told both Fox News and Bill O’Reilly this. Actually, I haven’t watched O’Reilly since he made it plain he doesn’t think private citizens should own guns. I might again in the future but right now I can’t stomach him.
Fox under the guise of being “Fair & Balanced” persist in giving left wingers a prestigious forum for their views.
I like Juan Williams almost as much as Charles Krauthammer likes him. Juan is a below average mind that we must tolerate if we stay tuned to FoxNews.
There, I fixed it.
In the olden days, the only reason I’d watch Juan was to see Brit Hume excoriate him every night.
We were in the minority though, I’ll tell you. I got lit up pretty good by American Thinker readers and elsewhere at the time with folks swooning over Juan and Roger Ailes’ decision. I am glad now I am on record as being against it from the very beginning.
I like that term you came up with: elevator relationships. So true. You are correct, of course.
I have heard other FNC anchors speak well of rabid liberals. They usually do the "she/he is a nice person" statement. I'd rather they not give their personal opinions because the political character of the individuals usually reveals something far different. We don't vote for someone simply because they appear to be a "nice person".
Nice may be the most over used term in the language, after unique. Very few liberals described as “nice” really are. They may be “pleasant” or “phony” but they are not nice.
You were right.
I thought Juan would come to the light after his NPR buddies threw him under the bus, and he was rescued by conservatives.
But in spite of all evidence placed before him, he refuses to be intellectually honest and takes the Dem position even when it makes him look stupid.
He is a low level intellectual, not on a par with the folks he appears with. His written columns prove that over and over.
So let me say it again, you were right two years ago.
A book?
Juan is still on the plantation even at Fox. He would leave Fox and crawl back to NPR to lick the master’s boot if he got the chance.
Good article and insights. Thanks for the ping. If only Fox would be just as ‘rash’ in firing his a** following his disgusting comment about Ann Romney.
yes, a book...political humor and commentary.
But I think there's something more to that comment about Ann Romney.....
Juan's comment was full of all the hatred of a true believer who can't come to grips with the fact that "his guy" has failed utterly and is about to "get the boot but good"
That’s a good point, and I think the emotion you recognized hidden in Juan is there in all of them.
The corporate wife comment has an easy response. A major difference between Ann Romney and Michelle Obama, is that the Romneys pay for Ann’s lifestyle, while WE pay for Michelle’s. In a 4 year period of time, I am betting Michelle tripled what Ann Romney has spent in personal travel, clothing, and partying.
For sure...
And it's also laced with a lot of fear.
Ponder this...we're taking the libs head on, if Romney & Ryan win with all this talk of medicare reform, and we have to stop spending money we don't have and finally, that we all need to sacrifice to save this country...
Libs are afraid this ticket will see it as a mandate to undo all there precious third rail programs
And that thought alone, keeps them all up at night!
Juan ain’t too bright and sometimes gets irritating with his ridiculous line of argument. He makes more than a million a year so I don’t feel sorry for him. He has his dream gig
According to inside sources at Amazon ... I think it is available for purchase right now?!
