I’m in the same boat as you, at least for the next couple weeks. There is a CFA opening near me on the 16th.
But I did stop at CFA for dinner last Friday. It was my first time, but it won’t be my last.
The online store has some neat stuff for sale for those who want to show their support for Chick-Fil-A but due to dietary or distance problems can not participate.

Thanks for the ping!!
If possible, a few things:
1) Please try to bring a camera for crowd pictures.
2) If you know any elderly or disabled veterans who can’t come, offer to bring them take-out, if their diets permit. (Of course this applies to other elderly or disabled as well. A good chance they will love the treat.)
3) Patriotic and Tea Party accessories are a fashion plus.
4) Bring a smile, and a cheery and patient frame of mind. The Chick-fil-A workers have been putting in a LOT of overtime for two weeks now, and are pretty tired and stressed, so be kind.
5) Remember that while there might be protestors today, they are planning their major protest on the 3rd (Friday), so if you want to support Chick-fil-A against them, it would be good to show up then as well.
Please let us know how it goes!!
That’s a neat idea!!!!
But I suspect CFA will merely be insanely crowded like it always is. ;-)
Good post!! Here is the menu link with food choices and nutritional info. The nutritional info page is one of the best I’ve ever seen as it calculates a “running total” of multiple meal items so you can quickly know how many calories, carbs, fat etc, that you would be eating for your meal.
The menu:

...and after you have chosen you food selections..
The Nutritional counter (Meal Calculator):

Slide your mouse over the left side food choices and pick your food and the right side calculator will total it up!!
I’m in Connecticut with the closest CFA in Paramus, NJ which I cannot get to.
Someone eat an extra sandwich for me, please. Maybe some waffle fries too.
Thanks
I have to tell this story: About twelve years ago, the top partner in the internaltional consulting firm I worked for in Atlanta, an obviously liberal man from South Africa, launched into a tirade in a management meeting about how "Christian companies" were hypocrits... "except for Chik-Fil-A: that's that one company that lives what it preaches." That impressed me that even he could see that the CF-A corporate culture was real.
Not long after, I was out of work due to a nationwide RIF of many of us new employees. Finding a job was difficult in the aftermath of the dotcom economy bubble, and I was feeling a little down. On a whim I decided to send CF-A a resume and letter describing that incident and explaining why I would like to be considered if there were any openings. Truett Cathy personally responded to me with a nice note and a signed autobiography and had a very nice manager call me and almost apologize that they had a small department did not have any positions available.
I've been in big business a long time. I've been a general counsel and CAO for a prospreous company and have been in several others. I have advised and counselled successful and wealthy people. And I can say positively that no other CEO of a major company would display that type of kindness to a total stranger. Nobody.
I haven’t seen that but it would be something if they did.
According to Obama, the Cathey’s didn’t build that business. Someone else did that.
That someone else might be gay.
So if someone is refusing to eat at Chick-Fil-A, it’s because they hate gay people.
Thanks for sharing that!!!
We had opportunities to meet Truett Cathy in FL when he had a condo in NSB. He is a genuine, caring person who is the same whether he is on TV/presentation platform or out in the community where no one (previously) knew who he was.
(Ping to post #14 !!)
