Gotta agree with this.
The fact remains that the #1 priority is to get rid of obummer.
And Romney will lean in the direction the congress takes him.
So vote for Romney and be sure you help make the senate republican and hopefully conservative.
Amen brother!
I agree. This 'blood' soaked shrinking to excellence is troubling.
The gamble has already been taken, the dice rolled.
Came up a big snake eyes.
The GOP decided to run another liberal leaning hara-kiri candidate who CANNOT beat Obama.
The blood is on their hands, they have alienated their Conservative base so much that many are not going to vote for the next-in-line GOP-e candidate.
And the liberal voters they are trying to woo will look at Romney and think, he’s sure got a lot of my values and ideals, but I might as well vote for Obama, he’s a democrat.
Plus the illegal alien criminal invading colonists voters they are trying to convince will do the same.
This is all IMO of course, Hum.
Ask yourself this: How many times has Obama bypassed Congress with his executive orders? Didn’t he declare DMOA unconstitutional which only the Supreme Court can do? Do you think if Obama gets reelected he will not continue to ignore Congress and the Judicial Branch? Then you should ask yourself who the real idiot is. One who thinks a Rino in the White House is better than a dictator wannabe or one who ignores the most important race and hopes the Republicans can take the House and Senate and then can control an Imperial President. I think a lot of people refused to vote for McCain in 2008 and then spent the last 3 1/2 years whining about who won.
Good, then I can expect you to get off your duff and canvass the neighborhoods in your local for the Conservative candidate, Virgil Goode?
>> In fact Im going to send Romney the money I was going to contribute to Free republic.
A short-sighted decision.
I encourage ongoing FR support despite the POTUS conundrum.
Senators and all of Congress are up for a vote this election too!
I don’t have to ask myself anything. I know exactly what I’m doing.
I have no intent of trying to explain voting for the lesser evil to my maker. Consider me a lost cause if you must but my conscience is clear and will remain so.
I certainly hope you are right. By the way, have you read “The Harbinger” yet?

It kinda’ sucks we’re losing FReepers because of the crap forced upon us. No one here is enthralled with the man from MA who betrayed Life. No one is arguing for more abortion. No one is arguing for more Socialism. No one is arguing for bigger government.
We need to make sure we stay bound by our goals, and not torn apart by this relatively small fork in the road.
We have the Senate and Congress to deal with.
Was there a true conservative in the bunch to begin with? Bachmann? Perry? Cain (what the hell was his deal?), Newt (for crying out loud, people here were rooting for Newt! He was hated just a year earlier.) The elites gave us Romney? Where was a conservative to vote for in the mix? Maybe Bachmann, but she just wasn’t ready for prime time.
Saddest day for me was when Sarah said she wasn’t running. It’s been downhill since then, but I will vote for Romney. Say what you will, but I do not think he hates America and I’ll take that over the current dirt bag.
I am with you Jim.
I believe you are on God’s side in this struggle.
” ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ saith the Lord.” Zechariah 4:6
Jim, you live in California. You can vote for your cat and it won’t make a difference.
Look who got elected governor... Jerry Brown who is just as dumb this time as he was last time.
We all know that Obama is going to win California and it’s really easy to say I’m not voting for Romney when we know he doesn’t have a chance in that state anyway.
Other people in other states have a real decision to make.
At this point I just don’t get this logic. No Romney and we get Yes Obama. Where the tea party is shining is in getting more conservatives in not only House and Senate but at local levels as well. This will not happen over night. I am in for the long fight in the long game, and to me one of those steps is getting the communist out the White House.
