Widener's has a shipment in of very nice ones, holster, extra mag, cleaning rod. I was over there to pick up powder the otehr day and they have nice still wrapped in plastic ones. The one I picked up and removed from plastic really didn't look used! Selling for around 220, IIRC. C&R guns

Yes, the brass ejected. The slide is far enough back that I can see the chamber and the bolt face quite clearly.

It simply won’t budge. It’s seized up good.

Have you tried removing the plastic grips to access the frame innards from through the handle openings?

Did you make sure to pull the trigger guard down when trying to move the stuck slide?

Yes, I’ve tried it both ways. With the trigger guard down and up.

Looks like you’ve got a nice clean specimen.

My holster was entirely different though. Mine’s a black police style.

BTW, sorry for the delays in responding. Since this thread started, I’ve:

walked the dog
picked up my daughter two miles away
took daughter back to her friends house
ate dinner on the fly
watered the flowers and garden

Needless to say, I missed the show.

Oh well, such is life.

May we please have a moment of silence for my dear departed CZ-82?

Got back from my business travels a day early so I was able to take it over to a smith. Turns out it was not the same ejector pin problem I had in the past. It has a bulged barrel! The odd thing is I did not notice or hear a squib round while I was firing (although I was doing a rapid fire drill). Apparently I had a squib stuck in the barrel and then the next round pushed it out.

I suppose I'm lucky the barrel didn't split. On the other hand, this is a testament as to how well built these things are.

My smith suggested that I hold onto it until one of those $50 buy-back programs comes around.

I'm gonna miss her. She was my favorite pistol.

Upon seeing how deeply saddened I was, my better half gave me permission to buy another one.

:)
