Let me rephrase, it’s against the law to threaten the president. Wishing he was dead isn’t.
I’m not really trying to psychoanalyze Sendak ... but, a Freudian might suggest that Sendak was still steeped in his id. After 80 years of life he was probably no more mature than the spoiled brat Max who was sent to bed without his supper in his most well known book.
Just a big liberal pussy. Just wrote about being a jihadi.
Again: "Maurice Sendak may have been even wilder than his 'wild things.'"
Why did I notice it? No, it's not the most clever or insightful line; instead, it's oddly light, as if we were in some universe where we actually discovered that he hated chicken soup with rice.
In other words, try to imagine if post #22 were literally true
Maurice sounds like a very tolerant, creative, artisitic individual...
...unlike those evil, racist, homophobic, xenophobic, nativist Tea Partiers.

and this article were about beloved children's author Eciruam Kadnes, who turned out to have had regrettable political views, topped off by secret fantasies of giving [insert your favorite left-leaning ex-president here] incurable, uncontrollable explosive diarrhea.
Would this article probably begin "Eciruam Kadnes may have been even more untamed than his 'untamed entities'"?
Sooo. He wanted Dick Cheney as Prez?
