Rubio should be expelled from the Senate. He has admitted that he has no respect for the laws of the United States of America and would violate them if he felt it were in his best interest.
If he would break immigration laws, why wouldn’t he take bribes or steal tax dollars, or mug old ladies to get what he wants for his family.
Rubio has admitted that he has the mind, attitude and character of a criminal and is unfit to serve as a government official, in any capacity.
Doesn’t he realize that every time an illegal steals a job from an American or steals tax dollars, they prevent AMERICAN citizens and legal residents from being able to feed THEIR families?
Heard this joker on Hannity yesterday. It was an odd blend of conservative slogans sprinkled like seasoning on top of a constant, mantra-like drone about “My family.” It became clear that conservative values and the rule of law were mere political props towards using “family” to justify the wholesale importation of Hispanics over the long haul.
Bye-bye Rubio. Bookmarked.
All that is left is for Marco to go ahead and endorse Barack, and his journey will be complete.
All the more reason to build a bigger wall.
For example, there also are plenty of families who would send their sons off to fight and kill our soldiers in a war. That’s their problem, this is our country.
This is the racial mindset of modern American politics. No courage to explain that illegal immigration is a bad thing for our country, for any country, period. Just pandering to the World’s poor.
So then, let a couple billion Chinese in, another billion Pakistanis and Indians. After all, if you lived poor in those countries you’d want your family here.
Oy.
Part of this insanity is the attitude that America is the only country in the world. All of these people have their own countries, yet we act like we would be putting them out into the void. They have their own country, this is not it.
I could have understood saying you understand the actions of others. But wouldn’t it be a bit more noble to say you WOULDN’T live that way? Otherwise, I guess every poor person in the world just about has an obligation to sneak their family in here.
Even if I were poor in my country I’m not sure I’d sneak my family in somewhere illegally. It’s a horrible, unpatriotic mindset and a disservice to BOTH countries.
Consider the Alternative
being Cuban that’s basically a moot point since current law makes you legal once you get a foot on dry land
Rubio has come out from under the eligibility or ineligibility rock as it probably is to show true feelings about illegal immigrants. The heck with abiding by laws or burdening the people of the USA who are legal citizens, some of whom have earned their citizenship the old fashioned legal way. Where is the dedication to our Founders Constitution to form a more perfect Union etc. by these illegals? Instead they rally for La Raza. Why do our ‘leaders’ not recognize that that the problem is not just a one sided humanitarian problem of individuals but some thing is drastically wrong when any nation works to have it’s citizens taken care of by another nation’s citizens. I and my brother who was killed in WWII were sons of immigrants. We were taught in a parochial grade school and on that the USA was indeed the Nation to work at aspiring for ourselves and for that ‘perfect Union’. We had our own feelings about anyone such as we being dedicated to some other nation. Perhaps such feelings don’t fit with today’s ‘feely-goody’ environment.
I know by the rules of multi-culturalism and PC a prole white man such as myself is supposed to patronize clowns like Rubio and exalt him for some tenets of ideology or some such rot, but I myself am tired of his Hispano-racism shtick. He is a manufactured entity.
The unemployment rate in Mexico is less than 5% if that tells you anything.
If the issue was purely one of people coming to the U.S. to escape the subjegation of their home country I might have a level of sympathy for their plight. But, just how are the problems created by the wholescale theft of this nation's resources, by illegals, get addressed if all that our current "government" does is provide these people with blanket immunity and grant them defacto citizenship? Obozo is nothing but a self-serving, self-agrandizing, narcissistic, jack-booted thug IMHO.
A great part of what makes (to be honest used to make) the USA great was the laws set forth in the Constitution.
I cannot help but think that our former greatness can only be diminished via a flood of people who think just because they have it bad, it is OK to violate our laws and sneak into the country like a thief.
Mexicans are, in general, good hard working people with a few negative attributes which should be addressed before coming here. Speak English and obey our laws. Why is that so much to ask?
If the illegal flood from Mexico continues unabated, why would anyone not expect our government to eventually become as corrupt and ineffective as the Mexican government?
Like it or not (don’t give a rats behind if anyone is offended) but the founding of this country was based upon GOD and what did and did not work in European countries. The founders did not look to Cuba or Mexico or Congo... for any brilliant ideas in governance.
Rubio, you just lost any possibility I would vote for a ticket with you as VP. Mitt take note, you have raised serious legitimate concerns among conservative do not even think about putting this promoter of illegal activity on the ticket.
“Thou shalt not steal.”
One may not unilaterally appropriate to oneself what others own.
So, the grocery store has bread, I want/need bread, I may not walk into the store and help myself to a loaf or two, and then walk out without paying. That violates the commandment.
Thus, one may not illegally enter another country and “steal” the economic opportunity afforded legal residents of that country.
But in Catholic moral theology, at least, an exception is made if one is in dire need of the bread and legitimately has no other legal way of obtaining, and has asked the store manager or owner nicely for the bread one needs to feed oneself and one’s family (or has not had the opportunity to so ask), one may take the bread without payment, and it may be that no sin is committed.
So, too, with illegal immigration.
The illegal immigrant who comes to our country truly out of final desperation objectively breaks the law, but it may be that he does not sin.
I’ve said the same thing. Most people, at least in the not so far distant past, looking at the United States, and looking at many of our southern neighbors, would think coming here illegally would be better than staying where they are. And Cubans who lost everything to the greedy plantation master, Castro, had added incentive to come here, since the alternative was being a political prisoner or dying. While we can all be honest and enlightened when it comes to admitting our desire for a better life, we must also be honest in admitting that the hundreds of thousands of undesirable illegals that pour over our borders are helping to make life here something people won’t want. Once the Castros fall, and the big plantation goes back to the people, guys like Rubio might have a new home to build, but most Americans are stuck in this declining mess, and we don’t like it.
This piece of crap needs to be removed. What a trojan horse.
Mraco is a trojan horse for more socialists coming into America illegally and being made citizens without a reason. Marco is completely wrong on this.
Virgil Goode is right on this. And that is why he has my vote for president. The plan should be to stop immigration and take a serious look at enforcing our borders, at the immigration policy that lets crooks and terrorists into the country, and making sure the job less rate is cut to 5% or less.
