I’m canning maybe half a dozen half pint jars of peach preserves this afternoon. Put 6 quarts of peaches in the freezer yesterday. Not much to speak of but they were free so I’m happy and my foodstuffs isn’t complaining. Every little bit helps especially since I had to pull up all the garden squashes yesterday.
Good thing that if it happens here, we won’t have to worry about the Katrina factor...
We got our ducks in a row already...Preps are made and in place, ready to go...
I won’t even lock our door on the way out of town...Nothing will be much use for anyone in that house for the long run...
