What are the alternatives? If Obama wins, he will solidify the detest for the left and the radical left in ways that he hasn’t managed to accomplish yet. Guns are flying off shelves and carry permits are through the roof. States are starting to exempt themselves from Obamacare and otherwise take steps to assert sovereignty, and the next election after that the left will be destroyed and furthermore, the Republican party will learn that it has to do better than select Massachusetts RINOs; perhaps some real tea-partier will be the next nominee, and Republicans will probably have a few solid terms in its future. On the other hand, if Romney wins, the Republican central committee will think that RINOs are just fine, select another one, and probably Hillary! will win after that, and maybe again. And then Chelsea! On the other hand there is the small issue of the Supreme Court, and giving away national security secrets, and squandering the treasury on LGBT renewable energy company boondoggles. It’s not obvious to me who would be worse, long-term, for the country if it got down to Mittens vs. The Obamanation. Both have grave consequences.
CC, it doesn’t do any good to try to explain why you aren’t supporting Romney to the ABOs and their broken record responses. You know in your heart that you are making the right decision as do I.

On the other hand, voting for Obozo (voting for anyone with zero chance of garnering more than a miniscule percentage of votes) WILL result in the loss of Liberty and Freedom. The place to fight that battle is in primaries, and in getting ready for primaries. What appeared to us this past spring was a disorganized herd of cats. Santorum's "tastes great!" vs. Gingrich's "less filling!" served as sad excuses for discourse.
And your GOP overlords thank you for yours. Though to your credit, I haven't seen you post the absurd "If Romney backstabs us we'll primary him" that some of your fellow slaves have tried to sell.
Just about anyone who is conservative, believes in limited government and is willing to cut complete departments to balance the budget would win.
Mitt is not that guy. While he might pull it off, I doubt it. He excites me as much as a root canal.

Those that are happy with O for another 4 years believe that this country is totally invulnerable and can survive anything or anyone and they can fix it in 4 years. I don’t like Romney but I can certainly see that I have no other choice if I don’t want O and if I want the country to survive.
It’s fair to say that at least Gingrich and Herman Cain would have been in that category. The prospect was greeted by horribly underwhelming primary turnout. People think primaries are of secondary importance, pardon the pun. They are not. The primary vote’s importance has to be sold, and hard.
