Actually, I stumbled across a vid on YouTube where Rachel Madcow was questioning this same ‘pre-crime’ bit and even linked it to the idea of unlimited ‘detention’—without charges, indictment, or trial, much less conviction of an actual crime. When the Libs are starting to run scared of the monster they have created, you know it is bad.

Those lyrics are prescient in light of the computer technology we have today. Think of it as an electronic pan-opticon.

I consider THX 1138 to be prophetic in regards to the cattle prods on sticks which are the tazers of today. And we have cops that act more like robots than human beings.
