Here’s a video of the last living witness to the assassination, appearing on TV in the 1950’s.
There was one man at the bedside of three out of four assassinated Presidents. For extra credit, who was that man?
Abraham Lincoln’s son. Can’t think of his name at the moment and not taking time to look it up.
Robert Lincoln?
OK, you get half credit then. :{) (Robert Todd Lincoln)
I was thinking Robert or Tad. Could I get 3/4 credit? Robert Todd Lincoln has a very interesting life story. Good history to read.
Aside from that, Mrs. Lincoln, what did you think of the play?
Once again, I read an article that clearly should be published in an American media but which, with increasing frequency, is made available through a British source and more often than not, by the Daily Mail.
Thanks for posting this. Most would not know this otherwise.
Huh, he thought Lincoln had been stabbed. Nobody clued him in about the gun.
How come Lincoln has no descendants? His grandson died in 1971. Why no kids after that?
Robert Todd Lincoln, master assassin
Gee, Gary tried to kill the poor guy with a carton of Winston’s.
He sat 40 feet away from the president quietly watching a play and didn’t hear the gunshot? okay........

Take off your tinfoil hat. It was a Derringer pistol. Close up and personal weapon. Small with a powder charge of not more than 25 grains. Doesn't make a large flash/bang.
No kidding? Has it been published anywhere?
Is there anything in it that is not included here?

If not, could you photograph or scan it and upload to archive.org or something?
