Intrade is reacting to the “too-close-to-call” announcements by the networks. People holding Walker shares are panic selling.

Just got back from my little, in the middle of nowhere polling station. A worker told me the turnout was strong for that place,(over 1000 voters). That’s a good indication the conservative farm vote was out in force.

Intrade is uncannily accurate because people "in the know" tend to put money on certain events happening in the future.

Intrade simply reflects conventional wisdom. It's a lagging indicator.

The Democrat Left have thrown every resource they have into this battle. If they are still soundly defeated, in spite all all the cheating and manipulation, this will be a conservative victory of historic proportions and it will prove that the mid-terms of 2010 was no fluke and that a Tea Party tsunami is on tap for November.

Absolutely right!

If anything upsets the apple cart of our social contract, I predict it will be vote fraud.

It’s been allowed to happen incrementally, and one day it will go too far to be tolerated. What happens then?

When the Justice Department is suing states to make vote fraud easier, where can citizens turn? If nonviolent civil disobedience doesn’t work, then what?

If you can’t trust the election process, then all bets are off. A representative republic lives or dies on honest elections. If massive, obvious fraud is allowed to stand, then the government has relinquished the right to govern.

Whats happening on Intrade is that we’re now seeing more serious volume. Prior trades were in units of 1 to 5 shares, now we’re seeing volumes of 10 to 100 shares. Still small enough that it can be gamed.

Or profit taking.

“one Repub loses and the Rats have control from what I believe I read a few days back.
That won’t matter; the Senate is out of session until the Fall, and the GOP will retake control after redistricting by then.”

It will maintain their intimidation of politicians across the country if the unions show they have the power to come in and knock some one out though.

Conversely, if they can’t, it will free many politicians to vote for what they believe is best for their voters instead of what’s best for the unions.

Woohoo. Come on America, show the world we are once again awake and still endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights.

Thanks. I’ve been sitting on that link for about 1/2 an hour, but obviously since the polls just closed nothing has happened. I’m an impatient wench.

Yes, this is going to be much closer than any of us hoped. Heaven help us if it is within the margin of a recount.
