1. Not a Johnson fan, although he was a cheap son of a bitch, which I appreciated as my governor.

2. He is not exactly “pro-abortion.” He wants to reverse Roe v. Wade and return the issue to the states.* That’s a huge improvement.

* Where Johnson falls off the rails is he then opines that states should permit abortion. So, oddly enough, he’s more conservative at the federal level that the state level.

Best bet is for the Republicans to develop some testicular fortitude and quickly change their rules so that cheaters cannot get the nomination.

Then we can have the convention attendees do their job.

I still find it hard to believe we have people on FR who advocate giving the Republican nomination, and our votes, to a guy who is not a Conservative, who invented gay marriage, who wants to adopt out babies to homosexuals, who thinks my tax dollars should pay for abortions, and who has spent many years as an officer in an organization that has had and would like to have a theocracy imposed on an American state.

I am so opposed to a second term for terminator Obama that if Arlen Spector took another ride on the Merry Go Round and decided to become a Republican for the third time and won the Republican nomination I would vote for Arlen.For that matter I would vote randomly for the 100th name in the phonebook over Obama. Although Romney was not among my top choices to win the nomination,I will be voting for him to get the cancer out of the Oval Office.This nation will not make it to 2016 intact if the terminator is reelected.
