Reportedly, one of the first things he’s going to do is to impose a 75% tax on the rich.
So, he’s going to take a dying economy, and a dying country, and take it over the cliff a lot faster.
The guillotine should be brought back and used on the people who do the voting in France, since they’re the ones who have brought that country to its knees. If something is not working, doubling down to do more of it, is stupid and suicidal.
But, let’s see if the rich in France are just going to sit idly by and relinquish their wealth to the government. Interesting and dangerous times ahead.

At town hall meeting in Powder Spring, Georgia on Tuesday, Obama said, “It’s embarrassing when Europeans come over here, they all speak English, they speak French, they speak German. And then we go over to Europe and all we can say is merci beaucoup, right?”
How can anyone govern a nation that has two hundred and forty-six different kinds of cheese?
Charles De Gaulle
Comrade.
I sometimes wonder if science and technology weren’t the disease. Progress is evil.
Maybe the cuban doctors can work on his shrinking problem. Maybe prescribe 50 cuban cigars a day?
Wonder if Obama told him he would more 'free' to help; after his re-Election, 2012.
Anytime a 'socialist' wins; it is a loss for our planet. Survival MO's shift; and we know; not for the better.
True; but there are degrees by enlightenment. . .will know more; when we see if Hollande expects the French to 'work' for their supper; and if the women can put their Burqua's back on; as they walk France's streets et al.
I for one, will always stand fore square for progress in the real, not socialist sense.
Earth First! The other planets later.
Hollande ... isn't that some kind of sauce that French chefs smear over a cooked horse?
It should get interesting... on both sides of the Atlantic.
The uncharismatic Mr Hollande, who has never held any ministerial office and is the first socialist to win the French presidency since Francois Mitterrand in 1988, has been an outspoken advocate of rewriting the plans to save the [Euro].
He wants a new preamble written into the new European fiscal pact signed by 25 EU nations to water down calls for austerity measures.
He is demanding a change to strict rules which dictate how much member states can spend, without which most observers believe a new European economic crisis is inevitable.
After his victory he said that one of his priorities was to preserve our social model a reference to Frances generous welfare state.
The new president has pledged to spend an extra 20 billion euros in the years ahead to kickstart the economy and wants to slap a 75 per cent tax rate on those earning more than one million euros a year, or around £850,000.
Hmmm; nothing about preserving the 'cultural' model of France. Can only guess per Hollande; 'burqua's up'!
But don’t dare accuse this cheese eating surrender monkey a Socialist. The DNC nazionale democrat-socialists will haff none of dat talk!
