I never thought He was Qualified.
I think its going to be Michigan governor Rick Snyder.
“Watch the interview and then tell me what you dont like about his immigration plan, otherwise dont respond to me.”
I’ll respond to you instead.
ANY “immigration plan” — no matter WHAT it purports to be on the surface — is little more than “amnesty disguised”. And we should run in the opposite direction. Even if “it’s for the children”. Then you run faster.
Call me xenophobic if you wish. Do you live next to a “hotel” filled with illegals? I do. I was just out in my backyard cleaning up the garbage that ends up there from their place this morning.
No to amnesty.
And no to Rubio. He’s not “Constitutionally qualified”, anyway. And if you don’t think the left and the media is going to make a barnfull of hay from this issue, you’d better start thinking again!
I’m beginning to think it’s a waste of time discussing issues like this with folks that want Romney to lose. Are you going to vote for Romney if he’s the GOP candidate?
It would be a disaster for him to be picked, both because of that issue. In addition, and I realize that not everyone cares about this issue (but I do!), apparently he is not “natural born” because his parents were not American citizens at the time of his birth.
I wouldn’t vote for Romney if he were the only candidate. If he is the nominee the GOP can go to hell AFAIC, and it would have.
It won’t matter who is the Veep candidate, how many VP’s make policy?
Romney has made it clear he has nothing but loathing for conservatives
As much as I like Rubio, his bio reports that while he was born in the US, his parents were not naturalized until after his birth.
Question to Rubio supporters: why push Rubio for Veep even though he is not “natural born”?
IMO, Rubio makes the case for conservatism as well or better than anyone else out there.
I care about it as well. I can't be intellectually dishonest about the issue and overlook it when it's our guy, while contending until my dying breath the big Zero is similarly Constitutionally ineligible.
Alrighty then. The opinion of people that won’t vote for Romney on who he should select as VP shouldn’t mean squat to me or anyone else.
Just a matter of time...
Romney isnt going to pick a VP that shines brighter than the boss
ALL requirements.
I agree.
Go ahead. Try to change my mind. Why should people who've invaded my country be rewarded with anything let alone citizenship?
Well, yes.
Wow! Your twisted straw men are even better than 0baMao's.
Any ticket headed by Romney is incapable of a ‘grand slam’.
dang, lately FR’ers are becoming really nasty...
also WELCOME to the poster of this article, Homers-odd-I-see, beware it will more than likely get ugly here by election day....still I bid you WELCOME.
Rubio is smooth, smart and ambitious. All admirable qualities from my perspective though we would see things differently on illegals I’m sure. He’s plenty sharp enough to be the VP, much sharper than the dullard currently occupying that office, and he gives off a certain aura that tells me he would have no problem going for the prince’s throat and do it with a smile.
Though I like Palin a lot and we see eye to eye on almost all policy questions honesty compels me to say that Rubio is much more polished. Whether that is a good or bad thing I have not decided.
