LOL. Its a new feature so that when you are trying to get service and get put on hold for the 100th time, you can shoot yourself.
Yeah, I just don’t see the problem. Nothing like that ever happens to me, and if it did, I’d try to find the owner.
I hide things so well even I cant find them

In my case, I blame 1939.....
The ditz probably didn’t look in it because it felt heavy and she figured she was going to get a laptop out of the deal.
People....a good example.
There is a current ad (lawyer’s)running on the tube that has a testomonial from a woman that starts out
“I was on my way to work and got in a car accident.
Although I was ‘hurt’, I went to work and called my daughter and she suggested I call the local law firm”
My ‘world’ would take care of the injury first THEN (maybe) the lawyer.
She’s an idiot.
You are so right! I was thinking the same thing-it must have had weight to it, so she probably thought she hit the yard sale jackpot! OR...
How do we know the gun isn’t hers? People do crazy things for attention! For their 15 minutes....
Shoot, Sight-in, Shutup.
Lawyers have convinced most people they have a right to a risk free life and if anything happens to upset them lawsuits can solve it.
Is that why my B.S. meter pegged out and blew the circuit?
“Sight in” a Model 36?
point, shoot!
I would buy a whole truck load of laptop cases like that.
Story seems a bit fishy though. I know immediately upon picking it up if my pistol is in my pack.
It was the first “S” that I came up with to replace “Shovel” that seemed relevant.
My thoughts exactly. A nice pistol, a bit of ammunition to go with it, and no paperwork, federal or otherwise! What more could you ask for? Pistol, what pistol?
You stole the words off my keyboard.
Her only reasonable concern would be that fact her kids have gotten to the bag first and found the loaded gun...
This story might have a completely different ending then...
I have a close friend who has a number of model 36 revolvers that he carries for self defense. He is an NRA lifetime Master pistol shot. He says that all his model 36 pistols came from the factory shooting a bit high, and that some judicious file work is required on the front sight to get them to shoot to point of aim.
His opinion is that this is done deliberately at the factory to allow the fixed sights to be customized to the carry load of the owner.
It is much easier to lower a fixed front sight than it is to add material to raise it.
I find a gun in a 10 dollar swap and sell item, I’m going shut up and thank my luck.
“Lawyers have convinced most people they have a right to a risk free life and if anything happens to upset them lawsuits can solve it.”
The real problem is that 90% of all lawyers are in the same class as pimps, child molesters, drug dealers, politicians, rapist and other assorted vermin!
I would like to have a piston not traceable to me.
“Look what the gun fairy left me!” sez me.
clearly we need special emergency legislation because these guns will stop at nothing - NOTHING!
