They've been giving New England fishermen a hard time for years. Still, the fools vote 'rat.
They are going to get paid, see:
Kerry Provision to Protect Massachusetts Fishermen Included in Senate Bill
To the tune of about $120 Million. That ought to buy a few fishy votes.
............who claims dolphins are endowed with exceptional intlelligence. I’d ask him why they haven’t figured out a way to avoid those nets....again...............
A very interesting thought!
I would think that the intelligence of the mammals in the ocean could be scared away by a particular underwater sound frequency that they would associate with danger. A cheap transmitter on the nets could do the job!
“So youre right, Obamas fishing ban will affect not just Portsmouth and coastal Maine, but inland areas as well.”
Without the seafood, the Hell is there to eat here? And it's too bad that Gloucester, MA is in the banned area, because some of the best seafood eating is around that area; that's actually where I go when I need my seafood fix.
If you watch Lidia Bastianich on the Create channel, she did a show which featured Gloucester and its fishermen.
ahhh - we have a REPUBLICAN House,
a REPUBLICAN senate and
a REPUBLICAN governor. A governor, BTW, that is everything - and more - everyone THOUGHT Chis Christie was, but isn't.
He'll have 'more flexibility after the election" -
Translastion: biding his time 'til he's king and rules absolute with no reelection worries
I thank God, you are in Maine.
We could probably even get them to emit "Danger! Danger! Swim away, swim away!" in Dolphin language.
“I hope that this blows up in Obamas face and that it backfires on his party as well.”
Since we won’t be getting a conservative POTUS, no matter who wins, let’s hope we get conservatives in Congress, and you are doing a good job of alerting us to the conservatives running, Clintonfatigued.
There is no target species, just anything & everything that swims.
