romney has lied his entire life. He lies about his religion... I never knew that until I actually became educated on it. Who am I? I am an imperfect man in an imperfect world and I have a brain and free will and a mandate to vote how my conscience tells me to vote. Let GOD forgive mitt if he has truly repented. We are not to judge his soul. JESUS said to "render unto Caesar" and our vote is a vote for a leader of a worldy government. On that count I do judge if he is qualified for the office of president. For many reasons IMHO he is not... and the largest reason is that he is a baby killer and a supporter and enabler of the murder of the innocent. I do not believe his words... on any subject. I have seen him on video say one thing... and then lie about having said it... then when confronted with the facts... he spins about what he really meant to say. Who else does that? The problem with your argument is that by any measure... mitt has had a change of heart on every facet of his being. No one truly knows the real mitt romney... there are just too many of them to know who the real one is... if there even is a real one.

You could still maintain on a personal level your anti-Romney stance while allowing the members of this forum to speak freely without restraint. Jim, this was the Free Republic I joined over eleven years ago. It was a great place! (And I'd bet the money would start flowing back in as well).

I might be a LITTLE less free wheeling than that. I don't see any need to allow folks to trash Jim's CORE VALUES wholesale with impunity. However, the super rigid, super narrow, super prissy, super self-righteous, haughty, smug, authoritARIAN attitude of some of the mods has turned many many quality FREEPERS away and countless thousands of dollars.
