They sure are reasonable for the weight. Every have a jam?
Thanks
I really like mine.
I am glad I got it when the gittin was good.
I think I had one or two jams when I was breaking in some new 12-round mags.
The only real problem I had with it is the trigger spring popping out of it’s groove in the trigger bar. Sent it to KelTec and they installed a complete new trigger assembly.
Being a DAO with no safety (like the LCR) the trigger kind of sucks. But it’s accurate enough at self defense ranges and packs 13 rounds in a small package. Mine is my everyday carry (except weekends when I often carry my CZ82).
I’ve got about 1000 rounds through mine now. The P11 is not a range gun. It’s a self defense gun.
Check out the Kahr CM9 and the new S&W Shield.
Both are about 16 - 17 oz single stacks.
We haven’t even finished breaking in the one I bought for my wife. I think we’ve only put about 100 to 150 rounds through it.
We’ve both been so busy with crap lately that I don’t think either of us has been to the range in almost two months.
:(
I’m in the same boat.
Front sight tool?
Did you run out of bullets?
Never had a DAO Semi Auto before. Does it chamber a round when you put a new mag in? Guess I better got look at one before I buy one...
Dangit!! I didn’t know that. :-(
Hey the TCU rifle team won again this year. With an all female team in a coed sport!!!
Same old - same old, mostly.
Thanks for the tip.
LOL!!
It works like any semi-auto. It chambers a round when you release the slide forward.
The DA trigger makes for a harder and longer trigger pull (for safety reasons). It’s in the 8-10 lb range. About the same as shooting a revolver in double action.
Kahr PM9 is on my list too. But at 16 ounces it’s almost as large as the G26/27 too.
I’m just trying to reduce. The Kimber Solo CDP is so pretty I may have to sacrifice.
You need to clarify that felons are excluded.
hehe
