BTW we’ve decided not to move to winner-take-all in the May 29th Texas primary.

Considering the current staus that's probably a good move....will be interesting to see how Texas plays out.

Infortunatley Ron and Newt are the only ones who can keep Romney from getting the delegates....perhaps they'll do just that!

Santorum split...but it was expected when he was up against PA....will be interesting to see if he releases his delegates or not. He doesn't have to.

I didn’t say a word about Newt now did I? Or is your reading comprehension as shallow as your principles apparently are?

I will NOT be voting for Romney under any circumstances whatsoever. I will work against him and for someone who represents my principles, even if it requires writing in a candidate.

I’m not stupid enough to allow myself to be beguiled by a game Obama, Romney and the Ruling Class set up to play against us.

I’m a conservative, I’m not crazy about Romney’s positions on some issues, but compared to Obama and the possible loss of the Country as we know it? I’ll vote for him just like Palin, Bachmann, Santorum, Newt and the Tea Party will because there’s too much at stake. I’ll vote for Conservatives for the Senate and the House and on the local level, and just hope that my Senator will be a conservative to keep the President whomever he is in check.

You are saying that Romney is a liberal based on the words of two other people. What you are crying about in the first scenario, the infamous “Etch-a-Sketch” comment is a basic reality of political campaigns. You differentiate yourself from mostly like-minded individuals in the primary. You are targeting like-minded voters. In the general election, you are campaigning against somebody who is not like-minded, and you are trying to gain the votes of the entire country and not just like-minded individuals. That’s common sense. Also, neither Romney nor his advisor said anything about “erasing his conservative positions.” What they said was that they would take a different approach, which is, you know, what every single candidate does.

Second, this just takes a quote from Norm Coleman (who is now a “Romney advisor”) and pretends that not only has Romney said it, he fully supports it. Of course, Romney has been campaigning against it the entire time. Being “advised” to do something doesn’t mean you’ll do it and it certainly doesn’t mean you think it’s a good idea.

God gave you a brain. Use it.

Michigan and Wisconsin have open primaries, something I think that needs to be addressed, you had Democrats voting for Santorum in the election to screw up the results,

Can you imagine 4 more years of Obama where he doesn’t have to worry about re-election? where he can possibly appoint 1-3 Supreme Court Justices? and he supports the job Eric Holder is doing? and having Obama pushing our economy over the cliff? where those who depend on Government out number those who don’t? across the board Amnesty. The list goes on.

As if we didn't see that possiblity four years ago when he was first elected. Didn't you see it then?

Obamas been doing exactly as he said he would do....he did not hide the fact.

Romeny wears a mask that is both deceptive and vile....and those voting for him now are equally deceived if they for a minute believe Romeny doesn't have equally have a bad plan for this nation he's concealing.....he will simply be deceptive in how he takes us down the same road as Obama. You've been deceived.

I am with you, RA.

I’ve stopped telling most people that I do not intend to vote for Romney, however.
They rant and foam at the mouth and try to tell me that this action will ensure an Obama victory, which we know is not true.
It’s always the same response: “What? But can’t do that!”

With exception, if asked, I do tell them that when I vote, I stand before God, my country and my family...and thus, do not intend to cast my ballot for a man who ran a dishonorable, unprofessional, cruel and underhanded campaign.
You cannot defeat radical socialism with “moderation”. No challenger has ever defeated a leftist incumbent who is a centrist.

[He accomplished what he did with grassroots conservative activism.]

As I posted earlier, Mary, what Santorum does in the next few days or weeks, will decide if he sacrifices Conservative values for a temporary position of power with Romney.

I truly hope you are not disappointed.

It is fundamentally inconsistent to say that you’re “ABO” but you won’t vote for Romney. Not only is Romney included in “anyone,” you’re also refusing to vote for the only person who has a chance to beat Obama.

I will NEVER vote for Romney as assuredly I will NEVER vote for Ron Paul.

Romney HAS NO CHANCE of winning against Obama. He lost the moment the Ruling Class foisted his candidacy into the ring, by design.

And the dupes and the fearful just lap it up as the Politburo dishes out the circuses and creates an illusion for the hapless to feel like they have a choice.

A few unhinged wingnuts does not a party make. The rational people will still have our say in this thing. It’s called the “silent majority.”

This is a site for principled Conservatives. Your vile, insulting comments are exactly the same expressions that Rove states about Conservatives.

Your comments clearly show you to be a GOP operative --- someone "irrational and unhinged" when dealing with true Conservatives. If anything people such as you will steel the resolve of those who know that voting for Mitt is a terrible mistake.

Everyday I am talking with as many as I know to have them see that voting for Mitt will change nothing.

Mitt worships at the alter of State Power. Mitt would do absolutely nothing to turn our Republic towards Liberty.

I am astounded that after all the destruction that Mitt and he evil staff has brought against Conservatives, that any Conservative would vote for that loathsome fraud.

The best Mitt supporters have to support Mitt is to say, "He is not Obama" What an utterly pathetic reason.

I think the people foaming at the mouth are the ones who go after those who have made a decision that they will vote for whoever the nominee is.

It’s very easy and, with the in crowd, to say you won’t vote for the evil Romney.

You have crossed the line of conservativism to the other side by supporting Romney....I suspect that will include your money. Newt remains a candidate and so does Ron Paul....you have other choices besides Romney....so your arguments carry zip water....you have drunk at the well of the media Romney\Obama agenda to coral your vote. They got you!!!!...and now your promoting their agenda by your support of Romney.

I guess you didn't see the gutter garbage I was responding to. It's easy to see the faults of those who you disagree with while overlooking the forest in the eye of your ally. Seriously, I think he might have been drunk or something.

I will not vote for Romney. He will not repeal Obamacare, an issue that you refused to address.

He WILL drop any semblance of conservatism IF he gets the nomination, another link that you refused to address.

He has instituted higher taxes and fees (by 300%), $50 taxpayer funded abortion, socialized healthcare, gun grabbing laws, homosexual marriage and adoption and appointed liberal judges in Massachusetts. NONE of that is conservative. I WILL NOT VOTE FOR A LIBERAL THAT MIRRORS OBAMA.

Romney does not yet have the nomination. It is still possible to prevent him from getting 1144. Gingrich is still in the race. And yet you think Romney is okay. NONE of those people have endorsed Romney and yet you pretend to speak for them. That's not conservative.

Have a nice day.
