This poll has internal inconsistencies. Only 86 percent of those who supported Obama in 2008 would support him now — the 14 percent would instead support a Republican. Yet, the overall Jewish voting population still supports Obama at the same 62 percent of 2008? Sounds like support has decline by 7 or 8 percent points, putting in closer to a slim majority.
There is an irritation fear and bigotry towards Christianity in many. It is a bigotry they share with out “cosmopolitan” oikophobic liberals. They don’t really come across Nation of Islam followers and the bigotry of non-whites is always minimized in their minds.
There are also ultra-Othodox Jews who don’t know or understand Christianity. Many Jews don’t seem to understand taht there are many different sects of Christians in America and that a state church is both unconstitutional and impossible.
No way would I ever believe the “Polls”...
Not one Jew that I know of is voting for him, and that includes the ones who did in the past. He is now seen exactly for what he is - a virulent anti-semite. Even the Jews in the Reformed movement are seeing it now.
As for selling out Israel, the leftists would just love everyone to keep believing that.
Nothing is further from the truth...... Most of us have family and friends living there, so for that reason alone, we are concerned for its survival.
I gather, the poll was NOT conducted in conservative Jewish areas...
Abortion.
No, it was done over the Internet, so had no formal geographic distribution. However, as I said, the poll participants obviously skewed to the left, simply because that's the kind of people that the sponsoring web site attracts.
