Can’t view it. I’m at work, but I’ll be lurking on the thread!
I haven’t watched network morning shows for years. It really is eye opening. With all the current topics to choose....they fill time with issues that don’t matter to any ones life. Good to see Sarah. Like her role in politics better, this is very dummied down.
Gov. Palin was thoughtful, provocative,
kind, careful, well prepared, poised and funny.
I DVRd the show and zipped past the segments without Sarah. I thought she looked great——I loved the black flare pants and the red scarf.
Did anyone catch Lauer’s nasty remark about Sarah using his dressing room? “I didn’t really give you permission to be there.” What a bitchy little woman he is.
Also, the funniest part of the show for me was when Tori Spelling was on. She was showing off her little finger sandwiches with the other woman (Ann Curry?), and when Sarah came over, Spelling actually SCOOTED away from her, and closer to Curry. It’s as if these lunatics think Sarah has something catching, or that they think she’ll bite them, LOL. You could tell Tori Spelling was absolutely freaked out by Sarah’s presence.
Well here I am, watching NBC for the first time since last century.
Palin just appeared, sure enough. But I have to say NBC has an odd definition of “co-host”, since she’s clearly not co-hosting.
Gov. Palin owned Lauer, from her sneer directed at Lauer at the start, to her grabbing the interview quickly, parrying every gotcha question, and staying on point to list Obama’s failures. It was obvious that he knew he got beat.
Then they “visited” her backstage to show that she was writing notes on her palm but she said she went Into Lauer’s office and showed everybody his metrosexual hair and skin products. Instead of going with the joke, Lauer whined that she didn’t have permission to go into his office. Meanwhile, the audience loved her.
I thought Ann Curry would be a problem but she and Palin worked very well together and their hour went too quickly. Al Roker and the other woman were also gracious and had several joking moments. It was a good show but Lauer wet the bed.
Co-host? Looks like she’s there to be grilled.
