Perhaps you mean the home-fed? They will be treated as the other nonconformists, the home-schoolers. They'll need a licence and a culinary degree before they can fix their child food.
Welcome to the future. The government no longer needs taxes, it has the mandate. Soon they will mandate you join a gym, buy broccoli, birth control or whatever, maybe even dictate your shopping lists.
Welcome to the Brave New World.
Local schools boards need not attempt to state their preference...Kathleen Sebellius and Moochelle will make the big decision on everyone's behalf.

Passed unanimously in the Senate, 264-157 in the House.
So yes, your rino Senator voted for it.
Typical liberals - they identify a problem and come up with the wrong solution - to fit with their agenda!!
Children will pitch food they hate. Children need safe neighborhoods to play outside after school!! Boys need to run around and create sand lot games ad infinitum from dusk to dawn.
Safe neighborhood will occur when a father is married to the mother of his children and cares.
The democratic social justice plantation is the root of this problem.
The vegetables will create stinky garbage - more work for the garbage union.
Those lunch boxes and paper sacks will either be banned or inspected.
And how many local whole or 2% milk distributors will be put out of business because of this DC sanctimony?
I meant dawn to dusk - then family dinner.
The helter skelter disconnect that is being proposed by the democrats and perpetrated by the republicans needs to go.
We need a razor mind to cut through the crap - Breitbart - RIP -Newt we needed you.
Boycott the gubmint skules. Find a good, Catholic school and run to them.
That is next. Think of all the jobs BO will "create"....I figure one person will only be able to force-feed about 3-5 kids per lunchtime.....this will solve unemployment, I tell you!
Gotta love the RINO’s.
The individual mandate allows the government to force you to buy what the leftists want. It could be anything at all.
Orange leafy vegetables?
Ugh
Re-education camp, I would imagine.
"Make your choice, kid: the carrot -- or the stick."

When the federal government can micromanage your kid's lunch and tell you what he can and can't eat, there is not much else that is not within it's gargantuan, grasping maw!
In 1776 the Americans had enough of King George. When are we current Americans going to have enough of King Gorge?

I am so glad we made it through school before the pinkos took over. Now all we have to worry about is family members being murdered by Obamacare.
take your veggies and shove em.
I want my Pizza
Not in our district. There are fresh fruit and veggies every day. There is one kind of canned fruit offered—usually applesauce—and at least two kinds of fresh fruits, BESIDES apples, oranges and bananas. There are fresh or steamed veggies or fresh salad (no iceberg allowed) as accompaniment. Right now the students are merely “offered” these and they don’t HAVE to take them. Next year, they will. Besides the government forcing more fruits and veggies, they are only “allowing” one kind of starch to be served per week. So, if there is spaghetti one day, there cannot be a dish with rice or potatoes until the following week. The students are already griping about all the rice and pasta being whole grain.
And, yes, the kids throw it out now anyhow. Is there going to be a lunchroom monitor who stands by the garbage cans to make sure they eat their vegetables? Good grief.
I am in the school quite a bit and am good friends with the food services manager. Even as libby as she is, she is shaking her head at this one. She thinks it is going to be the most wasteful program ever—and the proof will be in the trash cans.
And the taxpayers get to pay for it all. Yippeee!
