Looks like an enviro-weenie’s wet dream, doesn’t it?

They didn’t even have to do any modifications for Detroit.

there actually should be abandoned vehicles everywhere, and a lot more vandalism/destruction.

It’s accurate. I’ve been there, driven those utterly empty highways — in New Orleans, after Katrina.

And Horse crap too, too many neon signs and electrical devices. Not enough trash, dirt and vegetative overgrowth.

That's because my brother and I got there first with our Saiga 12's. Race you to Philly.

Hard for me to see anything that unusual in the pics — people density is about what it normally is around here (rural town). And very few hoodies, a few for the cold.

There was a National Geographic special I think that imagined what the cities would look like 50 years and beyond if humans were to disappear.

I thought it was cool and quite accurate. Looking at parking lots today and imagining no weed control, acorns easily sprouting in their cracks, growing and slowly lifting up the pavement then eventually breaking it as the trees grew.

Nature is relentless and whatever man has made on the surface of this planet, nature can take back and destroy over time......
