The national press may have figured out this is not the race based crime portrayed.
Florida press? Most are still beating the "racism" drum.

If the truth comes out it is sure going to hurt the copyrighted T-shirt sales.
Momma wouldn’t like that.

"New information..."New information??? I read every piece of this "new information" here on FR as soon as this story hit the national media. Maybe the CBS news readers should log in here once and a while.

It’s turning because those cretins Jackson, Sharpton and Farrakhan thought they were picking on a Jew.
But he’s Hispanic, and if Hispanics decide to rally behind Zimmerman and take on the blacks the Democrat Party is gonna be
SCROOOOOD SCROOOOOD SCROOOOOOOOD SCROOOOD SCROOOOOOOOOOOOOD!
Ergo, the lamestream media will not let it happen.

In the end, it was the Black Media THUG CULTURE, with the “DON DIS ME OR I KEEL YOU!” attitude of the inner-city, that killed Trayvon.
And the media will NEVER admit this, it’s too politically incorrect.
The jails and the cemetaries are full of Trayvons.

The entire incident is somewhat reminiscent of Bernie Goetz in New York City about 28 years ago. From Wikipedia:
“Bernhard Hugo Goetz (born November 7, 1947) is an American man best known for shooting four young men who tried to mug him on a New York City Subway train,[2][3][4][5] resulting in his conviction for illegal possession of a firearm. He came to symbolize New Yorkers frustrations with the high crime rates of the early 1980s. The incident occurred on a No. 2 train in Manhattan on December 22, 1984. It sparked a nationwide debate on race and crime in major cities, and the legal limits of self-defense.[4]
Goetz fired an unlicensed revolver five times, seriously wounding all the alleged muggers. Following this incident, he was dubbed the “Subway Vigilante” by the New York press, and was both praised and vilified in the media and in public opinion.
He surrendered to police nine days later and was eventually charged with attempted murder, assault, reckless endangerment, and several firearms offenses. A jury found him not guilty of all charges except an illegal firearms possession count, for which he served two-thirds of a one-year sentence. The incident has been cited as a contributing factor to the groundswell[6] movement against urban crime and disorder, and successful National Rifle Association campaigns to loosen restrictions on the concealed carrying of firearms.”
“A jury found him not guilty of all charges except an illegal firearms possession count...” If I were Papa and Mama here, I wouldn't bang the drum too loudly...
