"As much as I support the fact that it's your right to air whatever programming you see fit, I think it's important that you know that as long as Rush Limbaugh is carried on your radio station, I will not patronize any of the sponsors who advertise on your station. Not just on Rush's show -- on your station. I have called 10 friends who have also agreed to call 10 friends who will ask them to call 10 friends and you get the idea.
If it is your decision to continue to provide a broadcast platform, I will not only boycott your advertisers, but when the time comes for your license renewal, I will file an objection with the Federal Communications Commission stating that, in my opinion, you are not broadcasting in the public interest. How can it be in the interest of the American public to provide a broadcast platform for someone who says the hateful, divisive things Rush Limbaugh says? Please consider this request and consider the success of your radio station"
I'm waiting at the phone for MY call.
The rule of 6-degrees of separation is that you can reach everybody on the planet through a network of 6 people (so and so knows so and so knows...).
He's working on a base 10 network.
I'm waiting. I'm waiting....
He doesn't have 10 friends.
He’s obviously not going to stop listening.......
“the public interest” —that’s the key term. For the left, the public interest is THEIR interest, THAT’S what it is. They’re verrrrry comfortable with that.
They also hate the term, “people” but loooove, “THEEEE people”.
The difference is HUGE. Try it out:
A.) Power to people..!
B.) Power to THE people...!
See?
My rebuttal:
“Go educate yourself on the history of American politics and civics if you think Rush Limbaugh is ‘hateful’ and ‘divisive’. Then maybe listen to his show for about three weeks before making a final judgment instead of going by what your media masters at Media Matters tell you.”
“I have called 10 friends who have also agreed to call 10 friends who will ask them to call 10 friends and you get the idea. “

We are talking real’ friends, right? Not Bleach, Naruto or One Piece, Optimus Prime or a poster of Wonder Woman, right?
Define "public interest".
There was no profanity. No trivial sports discussion. No explicit sex acts being discussed at the noon hour.
The court's rule on pornography was based on "merit" (does the work have ANY merit).
If you are going to try to pull a station's license on the basis that it does not have ANY programming that serves the public interest, you are going to lose.
Even music stations air "community affairs" programs in the wee hours of Sunday morning to meet the need for "public interests" being served. It doesn't require a 24-7 litmus test.
His president branded patriotic American men, women and children “tea baggers”.
So much for civility or a moderate tone in difference of opionions.
In Rush’s broadcast apology, he acknowledged the Left routinely does this in the media. His apology to his audience and Ms. Fluke was that he should never have stooped down to the level of the Left.
When this boy’s lover, Barack the Kenyan Guy, got elected, he promised to “fundamentally transform” America. I guess he meant doing away with freedom of speech. This maggot appears to think that getting rid of the First Amendment might be a good idea.
He called ten friends. 6 were too stoned to care. 3 were in jail and one didn’t have a phone in his OWS camp. (Well he had an Iphone but the battery was dead)
we should do the same
boycott all advertisers of liberal dogma on every media outlet. send them texts.. send out chain emails... send lists of lib supporting corporations
we outnumber them. MAKE IT HURT
Please explain what you noticed so we can compare.
"Please consider this request and consider the success of your radio station"

I’m not sure what it was that jumped out at you, but I found the phrase “Please consider this request” at the end to be laughable given he’d already issued an ultimatum.
IF this guy has 10 friends I can assure you they weren’t listening to Rush anyway.
You need “10 friends” for the program to work.
Else /EOJ!
As much as I support the fact that it's your right to air whatever programming you see fit, I don't support your right to air whatever programming I don't see fit.
What jumped out at me was the reference to using the FCC to silence the station. The Administration has control of the FCC, and in any coup d’etat the opposition must be silenced. The opposition voice in America is now for all practical purposes relegated only to the internet and the radio........both are top targets of the DNC.
