Maybe I’m dimmer than most, but this seems like a boon to Rush. This type of publicity cannot be purchased, and in my travels this weekend, I have come away with the notion that most folks either do not care or see this for what it is; a silly liberal cultural play.
As for the apology, I am of two minds, one is that he did it as part of a bigger deal (I’ll bet Monday’s show will the best ever and lauches a line of T-Shirts like Gitmo),or sometimes it is better to lose a battle than the war..

Wait a minute here... The New York Times just ADMITTED here that Media Matters is a liberal media monitoring group! I thought Media Matters, by law, can only be permitted to be a tax-exempt organization (which it currently is) if it’s non-political???
