Nah. Rick’s supporters are infatuated with him simply because he tells them what they want to hear.
The skivvie sniffing Messianic Pharisees really seem to use this as their true North. A drab world indeed for those who measure greatness with such a small ruler. They would thus choose faithful Jimmy Carter over divorced Ronald Reagan. Water finds its own level though, and his supporters are convinced this is the benchmark of virtue and greatness.
