An interview with Adelson came out yesterday where he said he is not supporting Newt just over Israel, but also because he fears the socialist direction the country is going in.

That is true, but Sheldon told my husband that the US was throwing Israel to the side and we needed someone who cared about Israel and the US to save us from the abyss!

I agree with helping Israel but only because they are decent and related culturally unlike the savages in the neighborhood...not because of providence....although I would not stand in the way of it.
but given how liberal and anti traditional culture so many Jews are in this nation it galls me when they jump up and act like conservatives ONLY over Israel....and I'm supposed to be all lovey because messianic thinking Christians like Beck now proclaim this?....not me
I support Newt...1000 so far but I would support Rick too...anyone but Romney though any GOP but Paul would support Israel...Obama is by far the most hostile since 1947...no doubt...Carter...second.
I'm glad Adelson is helping newt but Adelson is no conservative....to be honest.
and if Newt and Rick stay in, Mitt wins...this cannot continue forever.
Great observations Jedi....these are the very things which people who support him need to "hear" and discern about Rick....and they have yet to really see his temperment for more than just a glimpse now and then. .....I am in Pa. and we well know how Rick operates....when push comes to shove Rick is a indeed a go along guy with those who can manuver him thru his political ambitions.

Do I agree and how! People here and around the world poked a bit at the intelligence of Bush. Obama was supposed to be the smartest man EVER...he has been found lacking. Gingrich would be something to be proud of. I’m ready! I also think he would do a fantastic job!
Believe it or not, I think Callista would make a classy FLOTUS.
Priority #2: Work like Hell for your favorite of the two conservatives (I prefer Newt, but Mitt has to continue to lose if Newt is to have a chance on Super Tuesday and later. I can live with Santorum, although his debate was awful tonight).
Priority #3: Get rid of Obama in the fall.
Just forget about what's past, it won't help. We are going to have to unite to beat the imposter in the WH.
I have to say on Sheldon’s behalf... he is the most amazing man I have ever met.. At his age... he is so smart, and has just so much common sense. He is a wealth of knowledge on our country, a bit like Newt... but not so knowledgeable...Any of you would feel so refreshed and revitalized talking to the man! He is a gem.. He is not like Soros and that ilk! He is like you everyday person.. If you didn’t know who he was, you would think he was just an everyday Joe!
I grew up in Santorums neck of the woods and my Grandfather was an Irish immigrant, he died when my Mom was two.
I just don’t see eye to eye with the fellow.
I left that Big Union BS 40 years ago.
I know that there is no work there now BECAUSE of the Unions.

I dont like Santorum, never have.
Only change I’d make is reverse West and Bolton - West for Defense, Bolton for State.
Oh, and I’d add Herman Cain for an important cabinet position - maybe Sec. of Commerce.
And finally - Trump for Ambassador to China or the Middle East - to see him put up or shut up :-)
No amount of money will matter at this point for Newt. The best I can ascertain from the FR comments tonight is that a fairly intense effort was made to paint Rick as a non-conservative. This is disingenuous and disgusting, but obviously some here have bought the excrement disguised as prime rib. Truly, I have little respect for the judgment of those who do not yetrealize that Santorum is the real deal. I could sooner paint Reagan as a moderate as Santorum.
Newt can only “bounce back” insomuch as he could hand the nomination to a REAL moderate, Romney. I wish that conservatives were savvy enough to realize this. Cordially, Bob
Look into the actual benefit US/Israel ties have had on America. Medical, technological...all the things the MSM never talks about. You might be QUITE surprised at what you find. it’s myrad.
That, for no other reason is why we should stand side by side with Israel. And the lib jews can GTH for all I care.
