It looked like to me that it was supposed to reflect all of the varied "doomsday" movies that have come down the road. There were volcanoes, asteroid strikes, a giant mechanical monster, a crashed flying saucer, and all of the like.
The falling frogs at the end were a nice touch though ...

The falling frogs at the end were a nice touch though ... The falling frogs was at the end of the motion picture called Magnolia, staring a number of movie stars.

Union workers forgot to install them! Are you sure that's correct? I read on The Truth About Cars dot com that the front end module is assembled at a non union supplier.

LOL!
The commercial was funny!
I drive an old beater car amidst a lot of pick up trucks on my route to work, early morning, every work day.
They are mostly all F150s or F250s.
That I know the difference between two Ford models says it all.
Other than that, and color, I can identify vehicles as cars vs trucks vs vans and SUVs.

I doubt Ford will do anything in retaliation, but it would be SO funny if they did something like that.
To: ReagansShinyHair
Yeah, the Obammy gestapo would be their panties in a bunch over that.
Better scene to pan too: Ford truck in background, “Dave” sitting in front of a campfire roasting marshmellows and saying to a group of Hooters quality gals, “well girls, looks like the chevys didn’t make it”. Of course, he would have a devilish grin on his face.
