Newt Gingrich Will be the Next President of the United States

I feel so sure of Newt, maybe not the man himself, for that no one knows. Just look at the idiot in the WH now.

But let’s face it, he’s the most transparent guy in the race. Stripped bare, yet his ideas ring true.

IF you’re past the age of 50 you have to think that the best of our country got buried years ago. We were yanked into reality when Kennedy was killed. Like children on the playground seeing something horrible we woke up.

Then the gyrations of the Viet Nam War, which we know now was the democrats mingling into something they never should have. IF we’re not careful it will happen again before the election.

Newt can clear this up. He can bring us back full circle to the nation we need to be.

I liked his speech. He’s asking for everyone, not republicans, everyone to stand with him. He’s the only one who can go into ghettos, latino districts, polish districts etc... and speak to the people with conviction.

It’s easy, we all can do it. Just speak the truth of conservatism.

I’m very tired of people bashing Laura, Rush, et al just because they not shilling for your guy 100%. They both just commnent on the race as they see it.

You can call her a “phoney Beltway insider” but that sounds like a good description of Newt to me.

If you really heard her tell Tea Partiers to “suck it up” and get behind Romney I APOLOGIZE, but I truly doubt she said that (since she was only on for 5 minutes, and not at the beginning of the show.)

I turn her on as I had described to you previously at 9:00 AM (EST). News came on first and then Laura about 9:07 AM. Her repulsive rant began and I turned her off in disgust at about 9:15 AM. I ventured to her website and read her blog and then on to FR.

Rush and Laura are not perfect. This past summer Laura came out of the closet with respect to the Tea Party. She ridiculed the Tea Party members of Congress who were holding Boehner's feet to the fire with respect to the House passage of "Cut, Cap and Balance". She ridiculed the Tea Party and its members until Boehner succeeded in squashing "Cut, Cap and Balance" in favor of the Super Committee which neutered the hard won majority in the House.

Her radio audience rebelled. Her Facebook pages lit up with complaints and her book sales (as measured on Amazon) plummeted. As the old NY Yankees' manager Casey Stengel used to say, "You could look it up".

I am glad we are leaving one another on amicable terms and maybe we will exchange ideas again.

Yes, we can and should discuss what she and anyone in the media says. I’m just very tired of a common attitude on FR: once someone says one thing they disagree with they are labeled a RINO and anything they have to say in the future is disregarded out of hand. Silly.

She just said, February 2, 2012 @ 9:18 central time: “This thought, that Gingrich and Santorum should drop out and we should all rally around Romney is crap.” So anyone who says Laura is shilling for Romney is just plain wrong.

Rush, Laura, Mark, Mark, et al have one goal: defeat Obama. Even if that means it is Romney to do it. Are any of them thrilled with Romney...heck no. Not that I’ve heard or read.

One last thing: I will vote for Romney against Obama. I’d much prefer it to be Paul Ryan (but he’s not running) or Santorum or Newt or even looney Paul. This thought that if Romney is elected it will ruin the Republican Party for good is just a crazy, silly thought.

We all knew he'd take SC, and it'd be tight in FL. Newt just needs to reload. Santo will not drop out. He has nothing to lose by staying in and letting Romney pay his way as a spoiler.

Oh, I agree. But I wasn’t the one who asked “where do you think technology comes from” as some sort of justification for the government spending money to put a colony on the moon.

I do tune her in on an almost daily basis because at least she is not the "meme" of the MSM. I will tune her out for a period of time (months) when she strays off the reservation (as with the Budget dustup this past summmer).

As for Facebook, I am not a member but you can read what she says and her listeners are saying as she posts it on her website. I was so angry at her ridicule of Tea Party members of Congress that were representing the wishes of those who elected them, that I went to her website seeking an email address to complain to Laura directly. It was there that I came across her postings of her Facebook page. And I just stood back. Her Facebook followers were blistering her. Her just published book, "Of Thee I Zing" was, I believe, ranked around #10, at the time, on Amazon. Some of her followers were telling her they were going to send her book back. So over the ensuing weeks I gleefully watched as her book sales plummeted to a rank just over #1000.

It was not until yesterday that I returned to her website to examine her Facebook page entries to gather proof for you that she was on her show yesterday at 9:00 AM EST.
