But first we should thank the GOP Establishment for demoralizing the base to the point that they don't vote.
I frankly at this point do not care if Obama wins again. The establishment
keeps choosing our candidates because we in the end go out and vote
for them. They all figure where else are we going to go!!!!! Well I for one
will absolutely NOT be any part of Romney winning. If we do not take a
stand we just have given up our very rights to choose our government!!!!
I will vote for a third party spoiler.
Trump even.
I am done with the GOP nationally if Mitt is forced on us..no way.
Amen...for the first time in 8 elections for POTUS I will sit it out or vote a third party if Mitt Romney is forced on us.
I will help conservatives in state and local as usual
I used to think folks here like tpaine and OWK and Mertz and Willie who always said this were nuts...and they were maybe ..lol...but I am now to the end of my tolerance for the GOP if they give us a pro abortion, pro gun control, pro homosexual agenda, stands for nothing candidate.
and I have been broken glass and a financial supporter like my daddy and his daddy going back even to Dewey and beyond
I remember the Goldwater yardsigns and my home is decorated with pics of my dad with Magnus and other notables like Fred etc...so this is not something I take lightly
But till this moment I never realized how unconservative so much of the GOP hierarchy and punditry actually are. They are just less liberal than the Dems and only pay token lip service to we who elect them. They are certainly not social conservatives as we know it.
The past 48 hours have been nothing short of an epiphany. We need to strike back and hard...fierce.
Sarah Palin has been critiqued..even by me ..but never called a RINO
Louie Gohmert...never to my knowledge
Saint Jesse Helms...lol...I doubt it..I mean seriously?
Bachmann...not to my knowledge..she has been labeled angling for Romney VP slot but never called RINO
Allen West has never been called RINO I can assure you
DeMint ..only when he failed to criticize Mitt
there are more...
problem is dearest...many of the GOP sans the teaparty newbies are RINOS..as well as most the punditry
that has been made crystal clear past 48 hours
Post 15. It devolved from there. I’m still waiting for her to answer my question.
Yes, there is a party called the Constitution Party. It was started by Howard Phillips in 1991.
Romney and Rove’s GOP is little different from the demonic-rats, so he// no I won’t vote for or support “the abortionist/statist socialist healthcare pushing Mitt Romney under any circumstances whatsoever!!”
GO NEWT!
GO TEA PARTY!
GO FREE REPUBLIC!
"No telling who we will get, Obama, Gore, Kerry, maybe Barney Franks lover. At least we wont get unsuitable Republicans."
We're gonna need EVERYONE that is not a rabid leftist to vote AGAINST Obama in this November election.
This is the exact same kind of crap/bullshit I read here right before the 2006 election ...which, as a consequence, gave us Nazi Pelosi and Dirty Harry Reid and the resultant housing market collapse...kicking off the recession depression we're now in.
People please....wake up and smell the reality of the deja vu crucial situation we're in here! We can NOT let Obama win a second term. It really IS a matter now of life or death. Our death, that is.
a non-vote is a vote for Obama.
No, it isn't. It's simply a non-vote. Things are what they are.
“We need a guy like Ron Paul to lead us!”
Moderates will not go for Ron Paul’s agenda. and defense conservatives(A major component of the Republican base) will never go for his radical isolationist rhetoric.
If Ron Paul wants to run on the republican ticket he needs to moderate his pitch in theses areas. Otherwise hes running for the wrong party nomination.
As for Mitt i think he can beat Obama and is clearly not as liberal as people make him out to be. His commitment to smaller Federal Goverment rhetorically is not inconsistent with his actions & even policy’s at the state level. This is for the simple reason that state Governments are empowered and thus potentially capable of doing a much if not most of what Washington D.C. cannot and should not.
I don’t pretend to call his State policy’s wise in Massachusetts but it was in fact Massachusetts a state, NOT Washington D.C. We must never forget that vital distinction.
It is indeed ill-rational for we who support states rights to in any way equate the two.
Oh, the ‘era’ is over.
So I can count on your worthless butts to back my ass up as it pertains to my tag-line?
If NOT, then just what era is over? Your sorry assed voting for whom? Or just what is over?
The post above yours stated:
the rebellion is on!
What rebellion? Against whom? What you got?
I got my tag-line. What you got?
No. We - as if Free Republic community forum is the only needer - needs somebody with a brain to lead “us”.
WOW! You guys were reading my mind!
This has been the most disgusting primary/caucus season I’ve ever seen. Romney’s folks are in their prime, and have some supposedly “conservative” recruits who have surprised me a great deal.
I held my nose and voted for Dole. I was so disgusted with Bush during his second term that I resigned from the Republican party. I swore that, during the last election when I voted for McCain, that would be the last time I would hold my nose and vote.
I will NOT hold my nose for them ever again.
They are on their own, as far as I’m concerned.
“tpaine and OWK and Mertz and Willie”
I tend to agree with you, except for Willie. Light rail is an expensive boondoggle, and Willie never, ever would agree with that. Good guy, though.
One more thing, voting for Romney is not much better than voting for Obama.
“Anyone that sits this election out is handing it over to our “enemy within”.”
I can’t tell you how many times in my lifetime that I’ve heard that, and obeyed it.
There comes a time when one has to take a stand, and this is the time for that.
Voting for Romney is voting for Obama’s goals, just at a slower pace.
Don’t you get that?
SCREWED.
Thanks, awfully.
No, really. I mean it sincerely.
"Yes, because "Just-winism" has worked out SO WELL so far...take your "lesser of two evils" mentality and pawn it off on someone born yesterday - because I wasn't. I refuse to hold my nose and vote. I don't vote AGAINST anyone. I vote for people I agree with. If there isn't one running then I don't vote."
