Yep.
Personally, I am really growing weary of people who defend mormonISM when they know little to knowing about it, except their neighbor seems to be a nice guy.
No..it means your new Rabbi will be G-d Glenn. You will be required to travel to his personal planet for redujumacting.
Forget the Torah..it will be Glenn's version of the truth with a blackboard forever and ever and ever.
He might have slot machines but there will definitely never, ever, ever be any little unforgivable, unlearned, evil newts on his planet.
I’m Jewish. Does that mean I get my own casino?

LOL. Probably not, but it does mean that to Mormons you are actually a Gentile. I’m not kidding.
Isn’t of the Morning brachos praising G-D for not making them a woman or a gentile?
On a side note, Mormons also believe that ancient Judiasm was really Mormonism and the Jewish Temple actually had modern Mormon temple rituals performed in them. So, basically even Jews are apostates.
the more you know about Mormonism, the weirder and more disturbing it gets.
Especially when those people think they know more about it than those of us who lived it or have LDS family.
Actually, I do recall a prayer like the one you mention in the Orthodox services I sometimes attended as a young man. I’m hardly Orthodox, however. These days, I just pray for the health of friends and family and to rid our nation of Obama.
In Mormonism, ZION and ISRAEL are Mormons and Mormonism and Indians are Jews.
I’m Jewish. Does that mean I get my own casino?
LMAO!
Everything I know about Mormonism I learned from South Park, and trust me: that was as weird as it gets.

The REALLY funny (and concerning) thing about that South Park episode? All of that are things the LDS missionaries tell you during the first discussion, that is ‘milk’. Only after you are a member do you find out the REALLY wierd things. The SP stuff is what they admit to openly to outsiders.
Really? I wasn't aware of Glenn's role in the rise of the tea party movement.
Perhaps you could post a few links to verify that.
I do remember him jumping on the tea party bandwagon to boost his own public persona and ratings.
Now, I DO know that our own Jim Robinson was a leading voice in the rise of the tea party movement.
When I was in the cult they used to circulate videos by a “mormon archaeologist” who claimed that he had evidence the ancient egyptians were also mormons whose rituals got corrupted...like they never learned from the Book of Abraham fraud. Similarly, other mormon “scientists” seem to pop up from time to time with proof of ancient hebrew cities in the Americas only to fade away before the spotlight finds them...always blaming an anti-mormon conspiracy that ate their homework...
Yes, it's that "Joseph Smith was called a prophet, dum dum dum, dum dum." will now be going through my head for the rest of the day. ;-)
When I was in Grad school for my MA, we had to do reviews of a previous thesis. The one I ended up with was a Mormon *cough* historian who said that the tri-partite structure of temples was proof of an continuous religious view that was later corrupted. IOW, proof they were all Mormons.
The Tea Party is comprised of different factions, with no one official leader, though I would argue it's unofficial leaders were Sarah Palin, Jim Robinson and many among this community.
Whether you like it or not, Beck was a leading voice in promoting the Tea Party and it's values.
I suspect your somewhat hostile response is more related to my refusing to fully embrace Newt Gingrich. Well, news for you, I don't fully embrace any politician. The only way we gain representation is to keep the pressure on those whom we vote for, (quoting J.C. Watts from yesterday) since so many politicians like to date we Conservatives, but wouldn't marry us.
Beck has gone off the deep end regarding “progressivism.” To him, every politician is now a progressive. He’s gone so far over the line that he thinks even the most conservative Republicans are no different than the Marxist democrats. If you’re in government, you’re a progressive. Beck thinks he’s discovered the biggest problem world history and that we can solve all of humanity’s woes if we just join his crusade to burn all “progressives” at the stake.
On the other hand, he says he would vote for is Mitt Romney if he is the nominee. Now, why is that?
Romney is an admitted progressive. And he definitely is in word AND deed!
“I was an independent during the time of Reagan-Bush, I’m not returning to Reagan-Bush!” —Mitt Romney
“I believe abortion should be safe and legal in America and I’ve believed that since 1972...” —Mitt Romney
Mitt Romney bans guns, appoints liberal activist judges, approves of TARP, bailouts, Obama’s takeover of GM, Porkulus, socialized healthcare, mandates against individual citizens, has supported abortion, defended Roe vs Wade as settled law that should be sustained, ran to the left of Ted Kennedy on gay rights, supports gays in the military, gays in the Boy Scouts, supports global warming, even supports telegraphing timetables to the enemy for pulling our troops out of combat zones, for Pete’s sake.
These are all indisputable historic facts on record. All of the above is document in this compilation of a couple dozen Romney clips in his own words:

And yet Glenn Beck would vote for Mitt for president? Why?
Mitt Romney loathes Ronald Reagan and loathes the tea party!
Does Beck now think Reagan was a progressive too?
Thank you, my friend!
Thanks so much for you kind reply!
Thanks so much, Paddy!
Whether you like it or not, Beck was a leading voice in promoting the Tea Party and it’s values.
Well that’s because he was on TV silly
I have no idea who you support. My "hostile" response was my opinion that Beck jumped on the tea party train for his own ends. He is an alcoholic and shows the usual grandiosity of one on a "dry drunk".
IMO, FReepers need to develop thick skin during this primary battle and refrain from taking things as personal when they are not meant to be.
I'm usually pretty able to make it personal in no uncertain terms. ;0)
